The DAT Tape singles star CyHi The Prynce with a special appearance on Side B from Caskey. Producers Jonathan Hay, Mike Smith and King Tech produced these two singles with a throwback concept of Side A / Side B singles on an old school DAT Tape.
Side A: I’ve Been Waiting feat. CyHi The Prynce and Shalé
Side B: Flower In The Attic feat. CyHi The Prynce, Frankie Porkchops, Caskey, Mike Smith and Shalé
Now available through Spotify and Jay Z’s Tidal from the album When Music Worlds Collide, these songs were mixed to DAT Tape, which is the reason why they have the sonic personality that they do. Side A’s “I’ve Been Waiting” featuring CyHi The Prynce and Shalé is part of the reality series “The Haymaker.”
The DAT Tape singles were produced by Jonathan Hay, Mike Smith and King Tech of Shade 45.

It is February, Black History Month, and like last year CyHi The Prynce is releasing another “Black Hystori” mixtape. Â This second volume is coming out soon and he has released his first track titled “Forever” that uses the classic Jodeci R&B ballad “Forever My Lady”. Â The production is done by Tec Beatz , Brandon Black & Jeff Leahr. Â CyHi has been consistent with releasing good music & it looks like he is continuing that trend.

One of the most underrated emcees coming out of Atlanta in my opinion, CyHi The Prynce, delivers a visually interesting new video for “Mandela” off of his latest Black Histori Project mixtape. Kinda dope how he took the theme music from the classic 1986 film Shaka Zulu to put together this ‘Mandela’ joint. Although the theme music honored the former Zulu king, Nelson Mandela himself was from the Xhosa tribe in South Africa. No big deal with those minor details, but CyHi still repping that G.O.O.D. music…

Okay. Underrated at first; now first off the bench with with a premier squad, CyHi The Prynce could be considered the “James Harden” of his team – G.O.O.D. Music. Drafted third overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder sixth man Harden is a fitting metaphor for CyHi at this point in his career. He “might not be the richest” but he definitely “ain’t starving.” More than that, emcees that come at CyHi weak can end up getting straight embarrassed in this game called Hip-Hop! CyHi The Prynce has been one of my favorite new artists for the past year or two now. I’m praying he gets his just fruits for his talent now that he’s signed to Kanye West’s “G.O.O.D.” music camp. Kanye’s ‘G.O.O.D.’ music team may arguably be the most talented in hip hop right now especially with the recent addition of Q-Tip of ATCQ so I’m not surprised that Atlanta’s CyHi The Prynce is involved on that squad of high powered talent. Check out this “Open Letter Freestyle” that the Stone Mountain native dropped prior to the release of his “Ivy League Club” mixtape. The G.O.O.D. music album spearheaded by Kanye West is on the way too….
