R&B/Soul: Coultrain – “Kiss Of Death” (Video)
Abstract art in motion accenting the auditory vehicle that is the Coultrain. Visuals above for “Kiss Of Death” off the EP entitled “Side Effex Of Make-Believe: Divided For Love’s Sake” (out now on iTunes).
COULTRAIN – SIDE EFFEX OF MAKE-BELIEVE: DIVIDED FOR LOVE’S SAKE
R&B/Alternative: Coultrain – “Kiss Of Deathâ€
Off the “Side Effex Of Make-Believe; divided for love’s sake” EP from Coultrain, this is “Kiss Of Death.” Don’t sleep. It’s a bit of an unusual take on R&B, but give it a good listen. Words by Aaron M. Frison. Music composed by Stoney Rock. Backing vocals by Dharma Jean. With a title like “Kiss Of Death,” of course the St. Louis crooner is singing pain – about a woman.
Coultrain – ‘Green’ (Tall Black Guy Remix)
Producer Tall Black Guy does an excellent job with this soulful remix of Coultrain’s already dope “Green” joint. I like the original version, but I LOVE this remix right here. Tall Black Guy gives it a little more bounce & sway without losing the most important & essential part of the song which is rooted in its soulfulness.
