New video from “FayetteNam” North Carolina’s own J. Cole off of his latest “Cole World: Sideline Story” album. When I hear J. Cole’s “Sideline story” single I can’t help but think of CRU’s “Just Another Case” joint from over a decade ago. It’s largely because they both employed the same sample for their joints which are different but still come off dope.

I thought J. Cole’s album Cole World: The Sideline Story could have been better but it was not bad at all. When looking at the big picture I’m still excited & happy for the young brotha from “FayetteNam” for selling over 250,000 copies in the first week. It shows that the tide is changing back towards more quality artists & subject matter in the mainstream. Especially for a newcomer like this North Carolina emcee & producer who proved that true fans matter the most despite commercial radio outlets around the country like HOT 97 in New York who gave him little to no radio airplay.

New Music: J. Cole – ‘Disgusting’

Sounds like J. Cole picked up some rhyme patterns & lyrical flows similar to Kanye’s on this particular joint. That’s disgusting. This joint is a little underwhelming to me but I’m posting so you can form your own opinion on it. I’m hoping J.Cole has plenty of bangers on upcoming album ‘Cole World’.
