Salute! Centric loaded the clip for this single and made it a bang-bang-BANGER! Plus, I heard ya, J. Gunn… every young spitter out here is NOT a mumble rapper. Facts!
M.O.P. meets Heltah Skeltah. “Gutta Rap” is the epitome of undiluted, unadulterated Hip-Hop music. Oakland, CA producer Centric links up with Lil’ Fame [M.O.P.], Rock [Heltah Skeltah] and the self-proclaimed ‘best rapper you never heard’ Joshua Gunn [NC]: scratches courtesy of DJ Flipflop [CunninLynguists]. With so much new music being released on a daily basis its difficult to know what’s worth your time but when you see those underground Hip-Hop legend’s names you know exactly what to expect, back-to-back bars over some A+ production. This song isn’t part of any particular project (yet!) just a stray bullet in preparation for Grand Opus [Joc Scholar & Centric] sophomore LP “High Power.”
