In a rare interview, comedian Dave Chappelle tells “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King about why he is connecting with a part of his family history at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina. His great-grandfather, Bishop William David Chappelle, was a former President at the University.

Politics: Former President Obama Goes To Germany (Video)

I believe that the Barack Obama post-Presidency has the potential to be even more impactful and far-reaching across the decades than even former President Jimmy Carter’s. And that’s a high bar. In my lifetime, Carter was one of the few U.S. Presidents that have done more than had a big library built. Google his accomplishments as Ambassador, as a peace negotiator, working with the Peace Corps and Habitat for Humanity… and both Carter and Obama have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
A massive crowd gathered in Berlin to listen to former POTUS Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel speak about democracy.

Jon Stewart Speaks On President-Elect Donald Trump, What Makes America Great And More (Video)

Really poignant insights from Jon Stewart. Par for the course for him, even though we hear less from Stewart now that he is no longer in front of the camera. Gotta change that somehow. Jon’s voice, especially in this clip, really helps us make sense of things.
After Jon Stewart left “The Daily Show” last summer, much of the Presidential campaign went on without his unique and satirical point of view. Charlie Rose met with Stewart to discuss his new book about the more than 16 years he spent at the Comedy Central program. Stewart was quick to give his post-election analysis.
Trump’s the President. He won. I’ll be okay. So will you. It won’t be easy, but neither is America. Jon puts it into perspective. Watch.

Okay, it would have been nice to get some dope backstage looks before the big ATCQ Saturday Night Live performance tonight. But we don’t have that. Oprah’s ol’ bestie Gayle got some other true behind-the-scenes stuff for us to watch while we wait though.
As A Tribe Called Quest releases “We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service,” its final album after an 18-year break, Gayle King gets a tour of Q-Tip’s home studio in New Jersey.

Snoop Dogg Talks About Life On A Different High On ‘CBS This Morning’ (Video)

Snoop Dogg was up for another Grammy (as Snoop Lion this year), but this CBS morning show expo shows him in a different light that’s so gangsta in a good way. Nearly 20 years of married life, loving and coaching the kids, no longer toting a gat, and visiting the White House on top of all that. Watch the above vid for that and more.
