Here’s what I do folks… I link with folks as I make my way through life and music. Then depending on how strong they help me keep the bond, we stay up. I do not press folks, but if they hit me and share what they are up to from time to time, I take the time to check for it whenever possible. That’s it. But that is IMPORTANT to me because (1) it is humane treatment of an artist who baring her/his soul to AND (2) because I am a human trying to follow The Golden Rule to the best of my understanding (i.e. I’d want someone to take a moment and give a f**k about what I am trying to do, too) #SupportWhoSupportU #acKNOWLEDGEment
Plus, I often get a curbside look at the hottest thing coming up the street. Next up: The homie Nik aka King Slik! More about him after the jump, but check out this video and see if you see what I am seeing… a dude that could easily track the success of a young Wiz Khalifa (got the ‘it’ factor already, just needs proper spotlighting to highlight his shine)!

Director Luke Monaghan puts together a poignant piece on the rise of A$AP Rocky. The video features commentary from A$AP Rocky, A$AP Yams, and A$AP Twelvy; vignettes from shows and radio; music video footage and more to give us a feel for Rocky on the come up. Well worth the watch. “Always Strive And Prosper = A$AP”… Got it!
