Blu releases this track from his project Jesus which is being re-released on Cd/Vinyl. When Blu drops new music its consistently dope. Hard guy to keep up with sometimes though. This joint is DOPE and the project has some really good tracks on it. The project features production from Hezekiah, Madlib, and Alchemist.

Blu Talks About Common, The Roots, Andre 3000, & Suge Knight (Video)
Shout to Davey D & his Hardknock TV team for this interview with Blu as he chronicles his career direction based on his influences in hip hop. From a cinematic standpoint I thought it was a dope idea to interview Blu on a LA rooftop with the sky in the background with a ‘Blu’ hue. Nice attention to detail in addition to a very good interview….

If you been wondering what the hell happened to talented West Coast Emcee Blu or where he’s been,well he’s been laying under the radar, but he’s surfaced with details of a new album dropping this summer, along with more albums in the works for this year. After his critically acclaimed debut “Below the Heavens” with producer Exile in 2007, we haven’t heard much from Blu, other than the “Johnson and Jonson” release with producer mainframe, and the concept mixtape “Herfavcolor”. Blu chops it with HardKnockTV to discuss the details of his new album entitled “No York” along with his follow up album to “Below the Heavens” with producer Exile.Blu revealed that No York, which is presently mixing,will be including contributions from Flying Lotus, Daedalus, Shafiq Husayn (and Sa-Ra Creative Partners), Madlib, Knowledge, Bilal, J*Davey, Edan, and Nola Darling. This should a dope project. Be sure to cop it when the album drops!
