BTS: Senor Kaos x 4-Ize – ‘Hard To Quit The Rhyme’ Shoot (Video)

One of my favorite songs from Senor Kaos & 4-Ize is this ‘Hard To Quit The Rhyme’ track featuring soul singer Anthony David & produced by Locsmif. Although the track appears on Senor Kaos’s ‘Most Interesting MC In The World’ mixtape, it may appear on an upcoming project considering Senor Kaos & 4-Ize also rhyme under the group name ‘Ultra Beast’. Here is the behind the scenes video they brought along several other lyrical beasts in the Atlanta hip hop scene with Gotta Be Karim, Headkrack, Eddie Meeks, Flux Da Wondabat, & a few others. This is some great footage of the legendary Charlie Wilson speaking with Fantasia about an idea he has to remake the classic Roger Troutman hit ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’. I’m not a fan of remakes on classics as big as the original, but at least its a legend like Charlie Wilson trying to make it work. If you just happen to be too young to remember or just plain ignorant I’ve included the song below so you can get familiar with the classic that also happens to be one of my favorites……

Before he began focusing his interest into doing feature length films, Spike Jonze was a dope video music director for not only rock bands but he also was the mind behind the Pharcyde’s classic ‘Drop’ video. I knew the Pharcyde’s ‘Drop’ was a hot record the first time I heard it, but when the video actually dropped it became the tipping point to pushing the song & video into classic status.
