Lupe Fiasco Speaks On Pete Rock Being Upset With His Song (Video)

Lupe Fiasco spoke on the recent controversy over his new song “Around My Way” (Freedom Ain’t Free) that samples/rearranges the Pete Rock & CL Smooth classic “T.R.O.Y.” while up on Chicago radio. Several hours later it appears both of the brothas did the right thing by getting on the phone & communicating. Check Pete Rock’s twitter below….

Commons Speaks On Ending The Beef With Drake (Video)

They met face to face and had an amicable resolution. Common also denies rumors that his beef with Drake emanated from Drake’s alleged relationship with tennis star Serena Williams. Marley Marl responds back to MC Shan’s True Stories Vol. 1.5……if they respond back to each other any quicker I’ll just have to create one post from now on. But then again maybe Marley is right after all & websites & blogs shouldn’t have covered this anyway because, as he says in his first response video, “no one cares.”

Female rap artist V-Nasty, who just so happens to be white, has been using the word “Nigga” in her songs & in interviews took issue with David Banner & dissed him in a song with the quote “How a white bitch more hood then David Bannerâ€. Common Confirms that ‘Sweet’ Was A Diss Towards Drake (Video)

I said it early on my radio show a few weeks back that the song “Sweet” on Common’s newly released “The Dreamer, The Believer” album was dissing Drake & now Common finally confirms it in his interview with Sway on Sirius XM radio. I believe it all started with Drake’s song “Marvin’s Room” & Serena Williams dancing on video at Drake’s crib. If you’ve been out of the loop Serena Williams & Common have had a very public relationship. Apparently I’m not the only one who saw this coming as most people are blaming Common for provoking this so-called “Beef”….

Canibus Drops DJ Premier Diss Record; DJ Premier Responds (Audio/Video)

Not too long ago DJ Premier was being interviewed & was asked a simple question about the most difficult artist he ever had to work with. Primo mentioned he had a minor issue with Canibus but in the interview he didn’t diss Canibus in anyway. Canibus apparently took offense to DJ Premier’s response (which personally I thought was a respectable & noble one) & released a diss track aimed at DJ Premier. Last Friday night I was actually driving listening to DJ Premier’s radio show on Sirius XM radio when Primo responded to Canibus’s diss record not only verbally but also on the 1s & 2s.
