Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch goes from “Beast Mode” to “Relax Mode” by getting a gentleman’s pedicure and foot massage.
While he’s relaxing in his massage chair at the spa, The Assist’s host Johnno Wilson gets Marshawn to open up on topics ranging from why he is happy about not getting the ball at the goal line in the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, what frustrates him most about NFL postgame interviews, and where traveled and what he learned during his year off in retirement from the league.
The Assist is the newest series from DraftKings, who bring you the game inside the game, bringing fans closer to the games they love. Series host Johnno Wilson serves as the personal assistant to the stars, helping some of the biggest names in football run some of their daily errands. But when you’re a star athlete, your daily chores and shopping trips are a little outside the ordinary.

But on an outdoor adventure with Bear Grylls, there is not much time for ‘play’ anyway. Watch the trailer for Lynch’s episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls.
Plucked from a medieval tower along the Corsica coastline, Bear and Super Bowl Champion Marshawn Lynch are dropped deep in a rugged mountain range where they navigate cliffs, dark chasms, and come face-to-face with the secretive French Foreign Legion. Spying a wild hog, the pair pursues the beast, but securing it for dinner will require Marshawn to dig deeper than he ever did on the gridiron. Along the way, Marshawn details his upbringing in Oakland, his “beast” mentality on the field, and his unexpected retirement.

Jaden Smith continues to impress me with his music. It’s not just the lyrical wordplay & flow that’s impressing me with each single or project he releases, but often times its the type of soundscapes he chooses to use. One very important element to a good emcee is being able to choose the right beats to convey the mood of the song you’re trying to create. It was a pleasant surprise for me to see that the son of Will & Jada collaborated with very dope producer TA-KU who’s music & production I’ve been following for quite some time now.
