Big K.R.I.T. Performs at The Apple Store In Atlanta (Video)
The Apple store in Atlanta’s Lenox Mall is like a crackhouse to me. I own most of the products they sell there but I always find myself going inside & looking around. Sometimes spending more than an hour in there. To celebrate Black Music Month, Apple had Big K.R.I.T. come through for an in-store performance which brought out more hip hop heads & Apple addicts alike.
Pro Skate Legend Tony Hawk Opens New Skate Park In Atlanta (Video)
Skating is big in Atlanta & many of those in that world also tend to be serious Hip Hop heads. Now that legendary pro skater Tony Hawk has opened a new skate park in Atlanta I’m positive we’ll see more talented skaters join the pro ranks without worrying about dodging the cops to practice.
4-ize Sticker Campaign Causes Stir in Atlanta
For Atlanta residents seeing a red sticker on a sign, pole, or wall usually mean one thing; 4ize has been here.
4ize’s stickers have been a apart of the city for years and this week some of the good folks at CBS Atlanta took notice (few years too late). The news crew counted close to 100 stickers on the Flat Shoals exit ramp on I-20 East and they have been there for quite some time.
4ize tweeted: “Must be a slow day in Atlanta news when they reporting on my 4 year old sticker demo.”
CBS interviewed some people who had complaints about the stickers and sought out the Atlanta Department of Public Works to see what their stance was on the stickers. A spokesman for the office deemed it illegal. We will see if any further actions are take regarding the stickers, TOTAL WASTE OF TIME but the promotion garnered from this non-story is what the stickers were put up for.

Chad Ochocinco’s Big Wide Eyed Bull Ride In Atlanta (Video)
I have to give him props for even trying to do this…..forget trying to stay on for 8 seconds. Having the heart to even get on that powerful 1,500 pound beast shows you have to have some ‘Walnuts’ to do it. I’d bet almost anything Marvin Lewis & the Cincinnati Bengals will trade Chad Ochocinco to another team at this point. Yeeeeee Haaaaaaaaa!
Clan Destined – ‘Lost Innocence’ (Prod. By Illastrate) (Video)
Visuals from Clan Destined’s ode to their upbringing in two different places. Amdex is dropping jewels on Atlanta and how things have changed over the years and DT is talking about growing up in NC. Lyric Jones makes a guest appearance on the hook. Clan D’s project Self Titled is available on Itunes, Amazon, CDBaby.com, and on Bandcamp.
Classic Clips: Bob Marley Interview In Atlanta December 1979 (Video)
Back in 1979 Bob Marley was in Atlanta for a show at the iconic Fox Theatre on Peachtree Street. Gary Anderson ( Yeah…I don’t know who he is either) is stiff as hell in this interview. Most likely because he couldn’t understand a word Bob was saying. Haaahaa! It’s still a classic clip in Atlanta history & Bob Marley continues to drop some knowledge for the people. In the second segment of the interview, the interviewer didn’t really overstand when Bob Marley said he wasn’t trying to reach strange people, but reach OUR people. It wasn’t anything coded or meant solely for black people. OUR people means anyone who is on the same path of righteousness regardless of race. At the end of the segment the interviewer shakes Bob Marley’s hand & then wipes his hand like George Bush meeting Haitian earthquake victims. Check out part 2 under the hood…..
Woman Beaten In IHOP By Atlanta Police Officer Speaks (Video)
I used to go to this particular IHOP in Buckhead a couple of years ago & they usually have heavy traffic after the clubs let out. I’m not surprised this happened unfortunately. Sounds like a lawsuit coming….

Bobby Blunt links up with Iman Williams for this nice joint produced by BusCrates who all rep from the various cities mentioned. This is supposedly an appetizer to what is yet to come from a full length collaborative project from Bobby Blunt & Iman Williams. Niiiiice… [source]

A member of the Atlanta based Liuns Den crew, Ekundayo has been stepping out with his solo expressions as of late. This is my joint right here but check out another one of my favorite joints from one of his earlier videos called ‘All I Know’ after the jump…..
