Sandy Wexler (Netflix Trailer)
Wowwwww. This has got #NetflixAndChill all over it. Please call up that special someone and get some heartfelt laughs going over some hot buttery popcorn on the couch tonight (or whatever night this weekend is good). Chuckles beget silly snorts, silly snorts become snuggles, and one thing, leading to the bada-bing… aaaand who’s making breakfast *wink*
In the 90’s one man ruled Hollywood with an iron fist. Sandy Wexler was not that man.

An ‘Iron Fist’ huh? Clever, Netflix, clever. And kudos, Adam Sandy, that Jennifer Courtney is some serious Eye Candy!
Cancelled: ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ Will Not Return For A 2nd Season
FoxNews reports ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ has been cancelled after only one season.
DAMMIT! I thought we had at least one more season with Arsenio, right Jay Leno (that’s what you said)?
Sometimes TV gets it wrong…dead wrong. They (CBS is ‘they’ this time) cancelled ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ already. Fu#kin’ @ssh0les make me so mad! I wanted to take this as a ‘hater rumor’ but the reports are coming in from beyond the blogosphere… and Carmen Breezy announced it on the Beatz & Lyrics show’s Hip-Hop Week In Review. *Sigh* and I found this announcement from the CBS-holes themselves:
I don’t want you to go Arsenio. But if you gotta go, please do a dope farewell show. I still YouTube your 90’s Hip-Hop megashow every now and then.
@BeatzLyricsATL @Carmen_Breezy @artbyodell @The7ODTwiceBorn Gonna miss you on late night @ArsenioHall #PleaseDoAnotherFarewellShow #AtLeast

Serch Freestyles and Talks About His New Talk Show on Arsenio Hall (Video)
With a new talk show to promote, 3rd Bass’ MC Serch shows up on Arsenio Hall’s couch. You know… to promote… and FREESTYLE rhyme for the studio and TV audience. You gotta watch. This is definitely off the top of the head. No arguments about whether or not this qualifies as freestyling. Golden Era representative! Check local listings for air times for Serch’s talk show. Check after the jump for an interview clip.
Diddy Does The Arsenio Hall Show (Video)
Diddy can’t stop, won’t stop, handling his business… sorta taking a break from handling that Calvin “Megatron” Johnson business to drop in on The Arsenio Hall Show. Check out the clip above for the biz… brief commentary on Kendrick Lamar and the controversy around his “Control” verse when it dropped, talk on the Revolt TV channel venture and more. Go on after the jump, where Diddy gets personal; talking about his late father.
Arsenio Talks With RZA About Wu Tang Then And Now, ODB, & More (Video)
RZA was a recent guest on The Arsenio Hall Show. During their sit-down, RZA spoke with the host on things … including the 20th anniversary of the release of “Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),” the ninth anniversary of the passing of ODB, Raekwon being the last hold-out for one last reunion album from the Wu.
Paula Patton Gets Her ‘Twerk’ On The Arsenio Hall Show (Video)

Kendrick Lamar on Ice Cube’s Influence & Comparisons To Bob Dylan on ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ (Video)
It’s kinda of wild to see Kendrick Lamar on The Arsenio Hall Show because when the show was poppin’ back in the 90s Kendrick was probably just a toddler. It’s rather special to see Arsenio Hall’s return to late night television & one of his first guests just so happens to be a ‘g.o.o.d. kid’ from the ‘m.a.a.d. city’ of Compton California. Check out video of his performance on the show with Schoolboy Q after the jump below….
After 19 Years, Ice Cube Appears On ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ (Video)
Have you been watching Arsenio Hall’s show this debut week? You should be. Every show so far has historical significance, but this one – with Ice Cube sitting on the guest couch – no doubt sent shock waves through the Hip-Hop universe. Cube promo’d his coming movie projects… dropped some names (Dr. Dre, F. Gary Gray, Kendrick Lamar) … but that’s not what the real hubbub is about. If you KNOW your Golden Era Hip-Hop history (and the lyrics that documented it) you’ll recognize Cube’s words from ‘The N!gga Ya Love To Hate’:
You know, back in the day, Arsenio passed on Ice Cube appearing/performing on his original 90s show. Think he might have taken that snub to heart? Well, nearly 20 years later, reconciliation comes with an incredible story. See, a young hot-headed Cube showed up to Arsenio’s set to give the host a piece of his mind for dissin’ the OG. He didn’t see Arsenio… but he did run into a young intern on the show who had just penned a movie script. The intern: John Singleton. His script: “Boyz In The Hood.”
Singleton convinced Cube to play the character that would become known to the world as ‘Dough Boy’ but there’s more… Cube always credits John Singleton as the man who got him to write his first screenplay (“Friday”)… and the rest is cinema (and Golden Era) history!
Arsenio has a hot show going so far. Check your local listings and check for it.

Arsenio Hall Preps His Return to Late Night TV With His New Band (Video)
I think Arsenio peeped how successful & integral The Roots are to Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show that he knew having a good band would be very important in 2013.
“I’ve got an incredible band and they’ll help me, too, (with booking).â€
–Arsenio Hall, in an Interview With Billboard.
Check out this behind the scenes look and photo shoot as Arsenio ramps up for his return to talk TV this September.
3rd Bass Reunites After 13 Years (Video)
The emcee wearing glasses is MC Serch. Pimp walking the stage with the fancy umbrella, Prime Minister Pete Nice. On the tables, THE DJ ‘Daddy’ Rich. Incredible. It’s like these guys haven’t lost a lyric, a spin or a step on stage after a more than 13-year hiatus. Respect! The Brooklyn crowd got a treat that night, with 3rd Bass running a set of classic favorites.
BONUS: After the jump, we go back 13 years…
