Rapper Big Pooh – “Stop” feat. Steve Roxx (Prod. By Apollo Brown)
MESSAGE! Video for a deep jawn off Pooh’s “Words Paint Pictures.” Okay, so in this video, Rapper Big Pooh and crew are riding, being followed by the police. Pooh gets pulled over, expecting the worst. Flashes of historic racial injustice obviously run through his head. Expecting to be treated differently because of the color of his skin, the video takes a twist.
What’s so eff’d up (and also a basis for relief): It’s a music video. You KNOW the brothers are gonna be alright. And yet, guaran-damn-teed you WILL get nervous, even worried, about their fate in this vid – getting stopped for driving while Black. Whew! Oh, you can pick up the album via the link below.

The track is off the upcoming album “Words Paint Pictures” that will be released from Mello Music Group. Here are some lyrics from Rapper Big Pooh that describe this track well …
Beat box, this is back to the block/ Before every rapper sold rocks/ Before everybody needed rocks in their watch/ Just watch, now it’s all about board rooms and stocks/ Words paint pictures, I’m an artist non-stop/ Raw beats, raps, this is called hip-hop…

Red Pill – “All Of Us” (Prod. By Apollo Brown)
If Eric Garner looked like me, he would’ve never been killed.
– Red Pill
Now THAT’S a powerful opening for some Rhythmic American Poetry. Must be that Red Pill stands for freeing minds from ‘The Matrix’ and letting us see the world for what it is. At least that’s what it seems Red Pill is going in for on this Apollo Brown track. Take a listen to “All Of Us,” and do it again to let it sink in.

Apollo Brown Speaks From Experience: ‘Be Inspired’ And Stay With It (Video)
You gotta keep doing it… If it makes you happy…
– Apollo Brown
There’s the wisdom. Whether Apollo Brown ever ‘made it’ or not, life gave him opportunity to chase his dream full-time; after being laid-off from a 9-to-5. No doubt, he was making beats even when he had a day job. He was determined to stay at it. Plus, as he hopes for others out there doing what he had to do (working, living within his means, all while pursuing a music career), he gets fulfillment from his craft. Take heart. Be inspired!
Good let’s get it clip!
Apollo Brown x Ras Kass – “How To Kill God†(Video)
That’s right. Controversy, thee hath two names: Apollo Brown and Rass Kas! They made that “How To Kill God” video; as though the song title (and lyrics) would not raise enough eyebrows and ires. Dope though. Both of ’em.
The single and full-length (“Blasphemy”) are linked below… you’re welcome!
Apollo Brown x Ras Kass – “How To Kill God”
Apollo Brown and Ras Kass are giving away this track “How To Kill God†off their “Blasphemy” LP (out now). Ras Kass Assassinates ‘The Backroom’ with Apollo Brown Backing Him Up (Video)
“I put a rapper in a wheelchair like Degrassi.”
Several subtle jabs landed in this Backroom Freestyle off a recent 106 & Park. But before you get all anxious about whether those “hit” will figure ’em out and respond… Remember this is Ras Kass. So … um … not coming up with any on “the list” who’d risk taking that L. But enjoy the Ras flow tactics intro’d and produced by a long time fav on this site: Apollo Brown.
