Halfway through watching this, you might have your mind made up as to whether or not Starr (with two r’s) should speak up… but keep watching. You KNOW it is not that cut-and-dry, and this trailer bears that out. Looks like a good flick to catch. In Theaters October 19, 2018.
Starr Carter is constantly switching between two worlds: the poor, mostly Black, neighborhood where she lives and the rich, mostly white, prep school she attends.
