If you’ve been listening to my radio show regularly then you would have heard me bang this song “High On Life” featuring Raheem DeVaughn out several times last year when Phil Ade’s “A Different World” album dropped. Wish they didn’t wait so long to drop a video for this joint produced by 9th Wonder, but I’m not mad at all. Phil Ade – ‘Incense’ feat. Mac Miller

D.C. is definitely getting stronger & stronger with talented artists coming out of that area. The whole DC,Maryland, & Virginia in general. The DMV is putting out quality, but just haven’t gotten enough of the spotlight for its quality as of yet. I’ve checked out several joints here & there from Phil Ade who’s currently signed to Raheem DeVaughn’s independent label 368 Music Group but I think this is the first joint that really drew me in. Phil Ade links up with Pittsburgh spitter Mac Miller to deliver rhymes over this joint produced by Sunny Norway that sounds like some real laid back lyrical mood music. This is a good choice leak from Phil Ade’s upcoming album called ‘A Different World’ that drops on Tuesday in conjunction with 368 Music Group & 2dopeboyz.
