AZ – “Genesis”
The former Grammy-Nominated emcee AZ (born Anthony Cruz) drops a brand new freestyle entitled “Genesis” in advance of the release of his new album “Doe or Die II” (due out later this year). Check out the freestyle below as AZ gets busy over the intro track, in which he also appears, from his homie Nas’s classic album “Illmatic”.

The Kid Daytona doing a live in-studio performance of “2,4,6,8” for the 3 Little Digs crew over at Tree Sounds. The song sampled by DJ Ted Smooth is from one of my favorite Jackson 5 records but The Kid Daytona & DJ TedSmooth’s version appeared on their collabo Valentines Day project called “Ain’t Sh*t Sweet”….

Metropolis II (Mini-Documentary)
Check this cool mini-documentary about a kinetic sculpture that took four years to build at famed visual artist Chris Burden’s studio. The sculpture has been making some headlines today as it was recently moved to the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art (LACMA) where it was just installed.
R&B: Trey Songz – “Find A Place”
Nice smooth joint from Trey Songz from his upcoming free R&B mixtape “Anticipation II” dropping on November 1st. I thoroughly enjoyed Trey Songz’s first “Anticipation” mixtape that he released for free two years ago & hopefully he’ll get back to that vibe that most of us early adopters grew to like from him. This song right here is a good start, but hopefully he’ll keep the profanity to a minimum & get on some real love based themes on the final product. Call me old school but I don’t want to hear too much cursing in my R&B joints…
