“About this Kendrick sh!t… I ain’t drawn in by all this propaganda… Rap sh!t ’bout as real as Santa…”
Ha! Kendrick’s “Control” verse didn’t name Big K.R.I.T. They don’t want to hear a country ninja snap! Hear the heat. “Mt. Olympus” is produced and performed by K.R.I.T. himself. Get the FREE download and share.

Technology: NASA’s New Superhero Robot (Video)
Of the teams participating in the DARPA Robotics Challenge (DRC) last year, NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) developed the clear winner – a humanoid robonaut, Valkyrie.
Valkyrie (designated R5 by NASA) is a 1.9 meter tall, 125 kilogram, battery-powered human-like robot. A JSC team in Houston partnered with The University of Texas and Texas A&M (with funding from the state of Texas) to build the R5 for the DRC.
The DRC challenge was to create tech that could walk over uneven terrain, climb a ladder, use tools, and drive; pretty much be capable of operating in the same spaces that a person would operate in, under the control of humans who have only minimal training with robots. Nice. Take a look.
Technology: Robot Dragonfly Drones (Video)
“Most people [speaking of the DelFly Explorer] talk about the three D’s – dull, dangerous, and dirty. We talk about the three F’s – fun, functional, and friendly.”
Dutch engineers at the Delft University of Technology have created a Micro Air Vehicle (referring to an aerial drone nearer in size to an insect than an airplane) called the DelFly Explorer. Weighing only 20 grams, or as much as four sheets of A4 paper, the Explorer’s sensor system is entirely self-contained. A tiny system of two cameras and a navigation computer to control itself (e.g. to take off by itself, maintain height and avoid obstacles for the nine minutes of its battery life).
DelFly’s engineers imagine a range of uses for their new MAV – stuff like detecting ripe fruit in greenhouses to streaming live event or theme park video. Cool. Wonder what a military or government entity might use this for? Hmmm…
Actually, think ‘smaller’ (so to speak)… Can you imagine what a jealous mate, or a nosy neighbor, might do with this fly-in-the-room tech? Hmmmmmm…
Might be a toy you’d wanna keep from under the tree for now. Hahaaa.
Jay Leno’s Gran Turismo 6 Driving Experience (Video)
Straight out of Jay Leno’s garage… The Gran Turismo driving experience. Chances are, most of us have not had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the souped up classic whip’s that Leno pushes. So, GT 6 could model any car driving experience and tell us how “real” the game feels. But convincing Jay of how real a virtual rendition of his car’s control feels… Now, that’s something. Watch.
Minister Louis Farrakhan Supports Kanye West’s Socio-Political Comments In The Media (Video)
I’ve gotten into recent debates with people about Kanye West’s statements on entertainers having control of their work & more specifically the Arsenio Hall show analogy he used when he appeared on The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 in New York. People were quick to applaud Arsenio Hall’s response to Kanye West about what the real reason Arsenio’s late night talk show went off the air years ago, but most many have forget that it was Minister Louis Farrakhan who stated multiple times the reason why Arsenio show was threatened. In fact, when Minister Louis Farrakhan appeared on one of the very last episode’s of the Arsenio Hall Show he even said it to Arsenio’s face. Minister Louis Farrakhan also recently expressed his support for Kanye West after he’s been taking heat from various groups in speaking out on a number of issues affecting the black community. Arsenio made a comment that Kanye West should never used the term ‘Slave’ as an artist, but he never addressed that back in the 90’s when Prince changed his name to ‘The Artist Formerly Known As Prince’ & performed with “Slave” written on his face years ago protesting the same economic issues facing creative artists. Arsenio is largely to blame for Kanye or anyone of us confusing the “facts” because Arsenio never addressed Louis Farrakhan or his fans when he had the opportunity & platform to do so years ago.
Politics: Iceland Overthrows It’s Government & Jails Bankers (Video)
The movie above – “Pots, Pans and Other Solutions” – documents power-to-the-people in action in real life. The PEOPLE, not their so-called representatives and institutions, have taken control of their government and collective destiny. Hell, the reps were in the way… and the bankers responsible for financial wrongdoing and damaging the economy… got put away!
Respect to Liberty Voice for breaking this news. Just think if Americans would have been told of this around the time ‘Occupy Wallstreet’ was at full steam…
Diddy Does The Arsenio Hall Show (Video)
Diddy can’t stop, won’t stop, handling his business… sorta taking a break from handling that Calvin “Megatron” Johnson business to drop in on The Arsenio Hall Show. Check out the clip above for the biz… brief commentary on Kendrick Lamar and the controversy around his “Control” verse when it dropped, talk on the Revolt TV channel venture and more. Go on after the jump, where Diddy gets personal; talking about his late father.
Comedy: ‘Carrie’ Prank Scares Coffee Shop Customers (Video)
”Telekinesis is ‘the movement of objects by scientifically inexplicable means, as by the exercise of an occult power.’ Scared sh!tless is what a bunch of customers at a coffee house were when a movie effects crew rigged it to play out a real life telekinetic fit by a woman patron in this clip promoting a reboot to the cult classic horror flick “Carrie.”
(BONUS: Check out the ‘old v. new’ trailer video for “Carrie” after the jump.)

DJ Premier Speaks On His History In Hip-Hop, Dope Emcees, Rap Beefs And More (Video)
Attention emcees, two things: (1) DJ Premier does NOT influence the BET Cypher selections AND (2) he WILL be scratching while you are freestyling if you get in the Cypher (that’s Hip-Hop; get your skill up)!
The legendary producer and Whoo Kid talk about how real it can get for a DJ out here, conflict and music making in Hip-Hop (including confessing that the original version of KRS-ONE’s “Outta Here” was way more heavy with PERSONAL name-naming disses), his coming up in the game (starting at age 19 in the late 80s), his experiences with Tupac EARLY in his career (literally tearing South Carolina up), all kinds of momentoes he has, and so much more. Great interview!
“I’m an emcee. I don’t rap, but I know how to control a crowd…” – DJ Premier
The Gun That Aims Itself: New Smart ‘Robo-Rifle’ Technology Can Turn Anyone Into Skilled Snipers (Video)
Texas-based TrackingPoint Solutions has released the first ever precision-guided firearm (PGF) – basically a long-range, laser-guided robo-rifle. Soon beginners will be endowed with the kill-at-will skill of trained snipers (e.g. one-shot kills at extreme distances) in no time! Talk about taking gun control in a whole other direction! Well… TrackingPoint CEO Jason Schauble refers to it as a step in the evolution of firearms. Um, yeah.
Watch the video and ask yourself this question: Has killing become too easy?

Click, Print, Gun: The Inside Story Of The 3D-Printed Gun Movement (Video)
Cody R. Wilson is a 25-year-old University of Texas law student working to build semiautomatic weapons using 3D printers. VICE recently produced the above video profile of Wilson, his efforts to 3D-print guns, and his views on fighting gun control.
“Whatever your thoughts on gun control, it’s impossible to deny that the 3D-printed gun movement is something that doesn’t fit into the current legal framework. It’s either exciting or scary–or perhaps both–and that polarity is something Wilson recognizes, and which he knows how to bend to his advantage.”

J-Live – “Headband” (Freestyle)
‘To reach the top they stoop so low…’ – J-Live
J-Live does some freestyle work on the B.O.B. track “Headband.” J-Live ain’t mad, he’s just calling out the fake… and the folks that allow fakeness to continue. Shots! Emcees get your bars tight. Turns out there’s some more fire spit over tracks… other than response after response to Kendrick’s “Control” verse. Y’all know that’s squashed, right (see the Arsenio Hall – Kendrick Lamar interview here)? Anyway, check out J-Live going in on one.
Cassidy – “Catch A Body” (Meek Mill Diss)
Thought it was over with Cassidy’s “Robert Ass Is Dead” diss track. Nah. Since Meek Mill (aka Robert) did not lay down after the spray down – catch Cassidy jumped off the everybody-respond-to-Kendrick’s–Control-verse (after dropping his “Picasso Baby” freestyle) to get back at Meek for getting back at him (with that “Kendrick You Next” track you can stream after the jump). I don’t know if this will ever stop. There’s no money in this beef for real. This is pride. This is Hip-Hop! Check out Cassidy’s ‘2nd round knockout’ punch over the classic Canibus battle beat he calls “Catch A Body.”

Soul Brother #1. Pete Rock. Camp Lo. Geechi Suede. Sonny Cheeba. Heather B hosting the visiting team… and they perform “Clean Getaway” LIVE y’all. This is one of many from their FREE “80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Pt II” mixtape download. There’s some good talk on there, too. They were on Sirius with Tony Touch pushing the latest “80 Blocks” earlier… and we posted that (earlier). They dropped verbal jewels then, too!

Diamond D and AG Talk Hip-Hop Then And Now With ‘Sway In The Morning’ (Video)
If there’s anyone (or two) who can comment on the Kendrick “Control” verse, comments on it and responses to it, and the state of Hip-Hop in general… It’s Diamond D and AG! Respect to Sway In The Morning for providing the platform for these Golden Era heavyweights to speak. Watch and reminisce as the two mainly talk Hip-Hop history and what they have cooking on the front burner now.
Joey Bada$$ – “Killuminati” Pt. 2 (Prod. By Knxwledge)
Response from Joey Bada$$ with a simple dedication: “4 brklyn.” Joey standing up for the homeland. Not just gonna let the “Swimming Pool” rapper (e.g. Kendrick Lamar) take “Control” of his block, let alone the Beast Coast. Check out Joey Bada$$’s “Killuminati” Pt. 2 (produced by Knxwledge).
Cassidy – “How Many Mcs” (Freestyle)
One of illest spitters alive keeps the inspired freestyles coming following his ill ‘Control’ verse response. Next came the the extremely dope ‘Picasso’ freestyle & this time Cassidy gets busy over the Black Moon classic ‘How Many Mc’s’ in which he literally rips this one to shreds lyrically as well. For people like me who dig ill lyricists with wild punchlines & metaphors, Cassidy is a perfect example of an emcee that I would have to constantly need to hit the rewind button. I don’t care about people yelling about ‘popularity’ or the dumb ass question of ‘Who’s relevant or not’ because when it comes to true skill it’s all about B.A.R.S.!
CASSIDY – HOW MANY MC’S (FREESTYLE) [DIRTY] | [CLEAN VERSION]
Cassidy – “Picasso Baby” (Freestyle)
And [he] don’t stop! Cassidy went in over ANOTHER track -Â “Picasso Baby.” More flame thrown over Kendrick Lamar’s way in response to his verse on Big Sean’s “Control” joint. A freestyle work of art, a “Picasso Baby.”
