Hmm… I wonder if Flawless was this picky for his BET Cypher freestyle (see here). No matter, because under pressure, the bars were up to par. Flawless is fierce with the flows.
And he will keep sharpening that sword. As will the rest of the Rhythm + Flow artists up there with Sway that day.
The internet has been buzzing about Netflix’s new show, Rhythm + Flow, and today we welcome the final contestants, Londynn B, Flawless, Troyman and of course the winner of the $250k, D Smoke.
Not only did these 4 fire spitters talk about their journey on the show, the exposure they received and the advice they were gifted from each celebrity judge — but they also gave advice themselves.
Inglewood reppin’ D Smoke also opened up about his investment plans with his quarter of a million.

Sad news. The world of comedy, and the world at-large, lost another great one this week.
Announced yesterday by surviving family members, stand-up comedian and comedic/voice actor John Witherspoon has died. We will certainly miss the man most knew as ‘Pops’ (from ‘Boomerang,’ the ‘Friday’ movie franchise, and ‘The Wayans Bros.’ TV series).
John ‘Pops’ Witherspoon aka Comedy’s Favorite Dad has passed at the age of 77.

With the slick ‘hood wit, silliness, and boisterousness of that made him perfect to play that dad (or Granddad, a la ‘Boondocks’), it was like Witherspoon was born to bring belly-laughs to us; whether lounging in our theater seats or living room love seats.

Sports: NBA To Crack Down On Verbally Abusive Fans (Video)

Okay. I’m for this. I mean, I would hear the old argument, “That’s what they get paid millions for… to put up with fans’ outbursts.” But I was ALSO a proponent of once your mouth ‘writes that check’ that 6’7″ brother you slurred should get to ‘cash you out court side’ (fines issued on a case-by-case basis, of course). I mean, hey, ALL speech is free… but no one is free from the consequences (just saying).
Nowadays, though, why don’t we just mandate some decorum on both sides. If you don’t think your seat was worth what you paid for it, don’t feel like you can “get your money’s worth” with hateful heckling. Nah, son. That day is done.
I especially like that even a ‘borrowed’ season ticket seat can be lost if the borrower acts out of pocket.
Only potentials issue I see: No ‘instant replay’ in the stands. A lifelong fan losing that season ticket seat for a ‘misheard statement’… well, taking that L would hurt a fan working for $50K a year way more than that athlete who earned $5MIL last year.
Let’s see how this plays out. Let those players play in [relative] peace from now on.
