Sheek Louch – “Gorilla Walk In New York”
Just like his fellow L.O.X. brethren Styles P & Jadakiss, the Silverback Gorilla himself Sheek Louch continues to keep killin’ these freestyles over classic & sometimes overlooked bangers from back in the 90s. This time the Sheek Louch gets busy over ONYX’s 1995 underground classic ‘Walk In New York.’ Bangin’ 90s beats & 2015 bars! Papoose – “Banned From Radio”
Papoose revisits some classic N.O.R.E. for his Throwback Freestyle Series. The posse track “Banned From TV†(featuring Nature, Big Pun, Cam’ron, Jadakiss and Styles P) provided the framework this rework entitled “Banned From Radio.â€
The L.O.X. – “Survivor” (Video)
As long as it ain’t ‘broke’ I give a f#ck what you call me…
– Jadakiss
This banging beat and the crazy sample at the beginning had you dreaming of some on location overseas crazy video concept, right? If not, you were on the money (with yo’ unphased azz)… because your mans and them – The L.O.X. – decided to keep it simple suckaz (like ‘KISS… Jadakiss flanked by bredren Sheek Louch and Styles P). Miming the hard rhyming right there in the studio as the banger played.
Video shot, edit and print. Sent! Watch and enjoy dopeness, plain and simple. Visuals for “Survivor” above. Links for the single, and the “The Trinity 2nd Sermon” EP, posted earlier below.
The L.O.X. – “All We Know” (Prod. By Buda Da Future x Grandz)
Calling themselves the New York’s NWA now? Okay, we might can go with that. Styles P, Sheek Louch and Jadakiss do come through with NY attitude (Yonkers, to be precise) with their new cut from the upcoming project, “Trinity” (pre-order now via link below).
This is “We All We Know†(produced by Buda Da Future and Grandz).

Mobb Deep – “All A Dream” feat. The L.O.X. (Video)
It may seem like a dream but it’s real. Mobb Deep & The L.O.X. connect on some Queensbridge-Yonkers type ‘ish for this new video with the Biggie sample from his classic ‘Juicy’ record. It’s crazy to think it took this long for Prodigy, Havoc, Styles P, Sheek Louch, & Jadakiss to collaborate altogether in some way. Maybe it’s a start of good things to come in terms of crew collabos. For now peep the new video & cop the song off the latest Mobb Deep album ‘The Infamous Mobb Deep LP’ that’s out now.
The LOX – “D-Block Survivor”
Sometimes those audio clips used as intros don’t add much to the song. But the sample The LOX chose adds amp-factor to the rap energy when Sheik Louch pounces on this “D-Block Survivor” track. Jadakiss and Styles P follow up to finish the beatdown. Good stuff. Stream it below for your own review. D-Block!
Chris Brown feat. The L.O.X. – “Loyal” (Tedsmooth Remix)
DJ & producer Tedsmooth has been killin’ it with his 90s influenced remixes over the past year or more. This time around he borrows from Biggie’s hip hop classic ‘I Got A Story To Tell’ & brings along Jadakiss, Styles P, & Sheek Louch to lay some lyrics to the joint. This is nothing short of dope!

The L.O.X. – “New York City” (Video)
Jadakiss, Styles P, & Sheek Louch’s new ode to the big apple is one of my personal favorite joints right now. The DJ Uneek produced joint now has a brand new video featuring the Yonkers hood heroes with clips of ‘New York City’ figures, events, & landmarks interpolated with beautiful shapely women to match the hard beats & dope lyrics. The L.O.X. continue to avoid that mainstream watered down rap & provides the real dudes like us that type of hip hop we tend to gravitate too. DEEEEEE-BLOCK!!!!!

The L.O.X. – “New York City”
Damn this joint is a banger right here as Jadakiss, Styles P, & Sheek Louch get busy with the lyrics over this joint dedicated to ‘New York City’. Nice little lyrical appetizer before the trio hits the road to go on tour for several dates. Of course they begin their tour March 26 no where else but ‘New York City.’ This joint is ill! DEEEE-BLOCK!!!!

The LOX – “Nosetalgia” (Freestyle)
Think Beyonce is the only one dropping projects with no notice? Nah, The LOX put their “Trinity” EP in the streets days ago. Now Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, and Styles P freestyle over a track off Pusha T’s LP “My Name Is My Name” – “Nosetalgia” – to keep the new heat coming. Stream the freestyle and get their “Trinity” EP below.
The L.O.X. – ‘Hood Cake’
Jadakiss, Styles P, & Sheek Louch get busy over the instrumental to Drake & Jay-Z’s popular ‘Pound Cake’ collaboration. I have to admit I like this D-Block version better than the original. D-BLOCK!!!
The LOX – “Too Hot” (Video)
“Too Hot” – that’s what this video from The LOX is! Everything that “The Hangover” was supposed to be… and more (with throngs of Eye Candy)! Oh, and the song itself is a banger. Jadakiss, Styles P, & Sheek Louch gettin it in… DEEEE-BLOCK!!

R&B: Emmany – I’m Out (F U B*tch)
R&B vocalist Emmany has worked with many hip hop artists in his rise within the music industry from Jadakiss, Styles P, Joe Budden & others, but this is one of the first R&B joints I’ve heard solely from him that I had on repeat. I really dig this song right here & it feels like the it’s coming from some real heartbreak, but I must be getting old or something because I don’t think the cursing was necessary in this R&B jawn right here. There’s been too many R&B records as of late that are great songs, but I feel they get ruined with the unnecessary cursing. I understand that some artists feel like it’s necessary in expressing a true emotion, but the majority of R&B records these days feel like artists are cursing more frequently & unnecessarily. It’s like they are refusing to allow the record to have a chance to become a great hit record BEYOND the hood. It’s still a dope song nonetheless & I’ve had it on repeat a few times. (Shrugs Shoulders) “F*ck It”
