Chris Lighty worked his way up through the ranks in the music industry over the years having managed the careers of A Tribe Called Quest, LL Cool J, 50 Cent, Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, & many others often times through his Violator Management company. This morning the long-time music industry veteran was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot would to the head inside of his Bronx NY apartment. The NY Daily News is reporting that Chris Lighty had allegedly owed the IRS over $5 Million dollars & was just getting over a divorce in 2011.
