Raekwon – Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang

Although I’m running a blog now I’ve always thought it would be a smart move for artists to release a clean version of their music first so commercial & college radio DJs can give a song some burn before dropping a dirty version for free. Â I understand most fans want the dirty version right away, but I would rather see an artist let the buzz on a song build a little before releasing the uncut raw. Â Just my 2 cents, but its that type of work smarter ethic that allows artists like the God Raekwon to keep winning these last couple of years. Check out the title track from Raekwon’s upcoming album ‘Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang’ due March 8th.

[…] From an artist’s perspective, I can agree with what Raekwon is saying in the video above. He’s most definitely a legend in hip hop, but not a legend in the sense that his time is done with the music game. Sometimes when people call you a ‘Legend’ it feels like they are saying you’ve been doing it for years & that your time is done. I’m sure Raekwon has so much more to offer hip hop to even consider stopping now. So I definitely feel Raekwon’s commentary. New album ‘Shaolin Vs.
