Emcee Logic – “The Power” (EP)
Everybody releasing Hip-Hop nowadays has a movement, right? How about music with a mission? Probably heard that, too; but not like this: A 100% clean (e.g. radio-playable) Hip-Hop project – “The Power” – from Emcee Logic dedicated to service of humanity and philanthropy in its purest form! Leading by example, Emcee Logic uses his EP, and his personal finances, everyone how everyman (and woman) philanthropy through Hip-Hop music is done. In his message at the FREE download page, Logic does not ask you for a penny. Rather, he asks that you put your time and money toward causes/service that better humanity:
‘It is ENCOURAGED that for every download of “The Power” you, the listener dedicate a little bit of your time and or money to the service of the many of us all around the world in need. Share the music and donate to a charity or cause of your choice. Lets make a difference out here Hiphop! I took it upon myself to personally buy school supplies for local public schools in need in my area. Get out here and do your part! Special thanks to Absolute and Backdraft [a go-to producer for the homie SkyBlew] for their production on the record.’
