Technology: British Inventor Presents His Take On The ‘Iron Man’ Flight Suit (Video)
Okay, Robert Downey Jr. studied Elon Musk to capture his essence and channel it to bring ‘Iron Man’ to life on the big screen. Fact. But what about the flying armor suit tech? Is that ever gonna come to life? Could be.
A British inventor has created his very own human propulsion jet suit – he’s being dubbed the real-life ‘Iron Man.’
– Sky News
Yes, Richard Browning has done a lot of falling down to get up to this point. And he admits in the video there is a way to go before humans will be using this for anything like day-to-day human transport. But this video is SO much like that scene when Tony Stark was building the Mark II suit in ‘Iron Man.’ After the jump, you’ll see that clip and more video on the prototype jet suit.
Machel Montano – “Fast Wine” (Video)

(Oh… and the Honey’s name is Denisha Burton, and she is @_inhalemee on Instagram. And yes, we are already hunting for more on her!)
Politics: Follow the Money… It May Well Connect Russia To President Trump
Keith Olbermann says, “Follow the money,” a LOT in this episode of “The Resistance”… and it’s okay, because it has apparently ben said by EVERYONE except who we think (e.g. credit) as the person who actually said it first. To the point Olbermann is trying to make above, folks who want to get to the bottom of what Trump is up to might do well to heed those words. Here’s Olbermann’s latest rant and his reasoned path to his conclusion about probable Russian collusion (with Trump’s campaign on his Presidential win).

Saving An Ancient Language Using Pop Music (Video)
Something very Hip-Hop about this story. We (Hip-Hop Nation, Black people, all people) know about griots who tell stories they were told, preserving history through generations, how slaves communicated stories (and plans) through song, and how Hip-Hop built on those traditions, speaking to and through the Culture… Well, Renata is doing that at the essence; not just speaking stories, but attempting to save the mode of speech (her language) itself using songs.
Renata Flores is a 16-year-old singer from Peru who is using her voice to save an ancient language. Though Quechua is the second-most spoken language in Peru, native speakers have suffered from discrimination and social stigma for generations, and today, many young people aren’t learning the language at all. But with her powerful vocals to covers of pop songs by Michael Jackson and Alicia Keys in her native tongue, Flores is sparking a renewed celebration of Quechuan language and culture.

Science: A 300-Year-Old River In Canada Vanished In Just 4 days (Video)
Wow. A river dried up about as fast as a big puddle after a heavy rain! Because a glacier retreated too fast. Because climate change (e.g. global warming) some scientists believe.
One of Canada’s rivers has vanished. The Slims River has been flowing through Canada for 300 years, but in 2016 something happened that caused it to vanish in the blink of an eye. In just four days, the river dipped in height so much that it could not recover. Today, the only evidence of the Slims River is its empty, thirsty channel. Scientists attribute the river’s disappearance to our warming climate and predict that future rivers may suffer the same fate.

Scewo: The Stair-Climbing Wheelchair (Video)
Swiss engineering students came up with the Scalevo wheelchair. Now they’ve improved upon the innovation to create Scewo, the latest prototype wheelchair that uses rubber tracks to traverse urban terrain – including and especially stairs. This could make a whole lot of places ‘wheelchair accessible.’ Super dope! Currently crowdfunding on Patreon, with market release targeted for 2018. Science: Just How Deep Is The Ocean? (Video)
I’ve seen videos like this before, and they get me every time. There is a BIG world out there… in the ocean. Sure there is the vast unexplored expanse of outer space, but what about the unexplored areas of our planet. NASA has had some shaving of its programs over time, and it’s unfortunate but understandable. Plus, the opportunities for international partnerships to get some space exploration done could turn out to be better for the planet’s push into the beyond.
But what if we swapped in some oceanic exploration in the U.S. and anywhere else that wanted “in” on the new nearer frontier? There is so much of our planet’s mass that we still know nothing about. Most of it is ocean. We could still spur youths’ daring (remember: kids wanted to grow up to be astronauts back in the day) and societies’ pursuit of bold advances in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (aka STEM) research. We would definitely find new challenges, cures to problems and diseases, and more. But first, we would have to find courage. Because the ocean is deep. SCARY deep. How deep? Watch!
Just how deep does the ocean go? Way further than you think. This animation puts the actual distance into perspective, showing a vast distance between the waves we see and the mysterious point we call Challenger Deep.

Fashion/Technology: The Tuibo Cycling Vest & Assistant (Video)
Know how we’re supposed to treat riders on bicycles like any other vehicle on the road? Sure. Can do. Except when we cannot see them coming up from behind. And when we cannot see them at all at night (because all neon ain’t fashionwear). And when we don’t know what turn they plan to make in a sec, because they have to maintain balance and handlebar grip before making it.
But yeah, besides all that going against the healthy/green-minded commuters with us out in these streets… sure, we can share the road.
Alright. Cynical much? Yeah, you got us. But if you cycle much, Tuibo has got you. Got your back. Literally. Check it out!
Designed to be your companion along the way, Tuibo is a smart vest made to improve visibility with it’s built-in flexible LED displays for braking and turning lights, also with it’s head light and horn. Tuibo’s fully washable and has hidden expandable sides to cover you backpack, all embedded in a subtle design.

Children As Young As Four Work 12 Hours A Day To Make Your Smartphone Work (Video)
Damn. And while the States stay distracted by whatever the f*ck the President is up to or not, and whether we care if Nicki will clap back at Remy or not, THIS deplorable despicable sh!t is going on. Watch above and read on… and prepare to get MAD!
‘Slavery is alive and well’ is no metaphor, people. We’re talking about miners in The Congo who are worked near death daily in unsafe conditions for nowhere-near-livable pay. And many of the miners are MINORS, some as young as four f*cking years old! All this to dig up as much cobalt as the developed world can buy to make smartphone and electric car batteries.
Regulate the mines? Yeah, right. Read more about the tragedy and challenges of this situation by following the link below.

Apis Cor Just 3D-Printed Its First Residential Home (Video)
“3D printer… I’ve heard of it… It can make some little stuff…”
“A house? In 24 hours? No way!”
Yep. Just some regular Russians’ comments on the modern construction miracle that Apis Cor has just pulled off. That company sought to partner with PIK Companies Group, Samsung Electronics, TechnoNICOL Corporation, Bitex Reibeputz Company and Fabrika Okon to make the tech and make the house happen. Once all was in place, in just a day’s time, with a huge on-site 3D printer, in Russia, a 400-square-foot home was built, at a cost of slightly over $10,000.
Watch, and be amazed. Crazy. Crazy COOL!

Science: How Colonizing Mars Could Spark New Kind Of Human Evolution (Video)
So, we talk about going to Mars. And leave it to futurists like Elon Musk, we talk about STAYING and establishing human life there. But watching this video though… Colonizing Mars means former “Earthlings” become real-life “Martians”… and that is a different kind of human; or it least it most likely would be.
If humans ever successfully colonize Mars, how would their biology change? An evolutionary biologist at Rice University and author of book “Future Humans: Inside the Science of Our Continuing Evolution,” Scott Solomon, explains how humans might evolve on Mars and what significance that could have for humans left on Earth.
