How Would You React If You Saw a Lamborghini Drive By? How Would You React To The Reactions If You Were Driving It? (Video)
Are you curious to know what it is like driving a Ferrari #lamborghinimustang in the streets of Toronto? Enjoy another update of my POV Reaction Series.
– The Leviathan
Ha! Lie to yourself if you want, but even if you were not curious, you are now. Watching this from The Leviathan’s point-of-view, you might feel different about the a-hole (or awesome dude) that rolls through your ‘hood in a Lambo. This should give you a whole other perspective on what ‘that sh!t cray’ means. Can you just be ‘regular’ while driving a supercar? Can you just live?
(Wow. Maybe not…A couple of those encounters captured in the vid above will definitely make you think before you give your final answer!)
Travel: Action Bronson Hits Hawaii And Brings Us Deliciousness (Video)
Above: Action Bronson is back with more fun and food porn in the latest episode of F#ck That’s Delicious. Wow. Bam Bam took it to Hawaii – making poke (say it like POH-KAY, a fish and rice dish), a fav of his and Alchemist’s. Hey, put on a napkin and pull chair up close… and dig in!
(Haaaaa! He is CLOWNING to that Phil & Phil “Easy Lover” in there later.)
Japanese Television Show Features A “Handjob Competition” (Video)
Another crazy Japanese game show has come to light featuring women who give hand jobs to men to see who can be jerked off the fastest.
– The Point with Ana Kasparian
Wait WHAT??? Yeah, this is real. Maybe get one-way plane tickets to Japan, huh? So, what about this story is the craziest… that there is such a competition, that this is NOT the only such competition, or maybe Mélia Mills’ VERY in-depth analysis of how some may have a ‘competitive advantage’ in the ummm race. Wowww.
You’ve gotta watch.
His Shaolin Technique Is Very Good: This Monk Is Runs On Water (Video)
Okay, first one that comments that the monk is running on boards on water… slam the door behind you on the way out. Do you see how small the boards are?? Furthermore, even though Shi Liliang could claim god power with such a feat of near super-human achievement, he is still so humble; and his cause, so noble. He did it (1) to show what can be accomplished when you believe in yourself and (2) to raise funds to send kids to school. Watch this clip please!
Shi Liliang, a monk who made headlines last year running 118 meters across the surface of a water reservoir, established a new personal best of 125 meters on Aug. 29.
Going ‘Off The Grid’ With J. Cole (Video)
Promo vid for a boots brand offering, J. Cole offers so much more here. The scenery, vibe and inspiration… feel it as Cole World comes to the old world Tuff Gong Studios. Hiking the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. Great look!
Big Piph x Tomorrow Maybe – “Untouchable in Deez African Streetz” (Video)
Two folks I feel honored to know – JayForce (really cool dude who is a real Force in ATL Hip-Hop and purveyor of The Culture worldwide) and the homie Big Piph (who JayForce has greenlit me to post on before). Piph is also a positive force in Hip-Hop worldwide; even teaching about the art/culture on a United Nations trip a while back. That’s right, and that ain’t all. Check out the ‘Experiences’ section of his www.BigPiph.com site for his globetrotting edutainment and real life adventures.
To me… What is really so dope though… To this day my brother answers when I call, does what he can (for whoever he can), and is a straight up and down good person… who just happens to be one fly azz emcee! I have borne witness to that since back when he appeared on a talk show I produced years ago.
As Biz rapped, “Damn it feels good to see people up on it!” See Big Piph back on it in the Motherland. Got a montage-style video above for him and his band Tomorrow Maybe doing “Untouchable” live.

Hip-Hop In The Holy Land: Meet The Palestinian Godfather Of Rap (Documentary)

Nelson Mandela’s Old Johannesburg Hideout Gives South African Artists & Entrepreneurs A New Home (Video)
Nice! Shout to The Daily Beast for bringing this Johannesburg gem to light. A center for entrepreneurship and culture that was once at the heart of the anti-apartheid movement. In South Africa, if you want to realize a dream, this is the place – apparently to work it or witness the work come to fruition. Great look at the people and art of Johannesburg in this clip.

A Giant Robot Rumble? America, Are You Ready? Japan, Are You Ready? Let’s Get It On! (Video)
Double dog DARE you you do a search on ‘robot’ on this site! It’s just something that happened. I’ll cop to posting my more than my fair share of articles on robo-tech. Damn straight. Especially when dopeness like this keeps popping up around the Interwebs. Apparently, America (well, some group of Americans) has thrown down the gauntlet and challenged Japan – home to bad azz sci-fi, anime AND real-life robots – to a robo-duel!
“We have a giant robot. You have a giant robot. You know what needs to happen.”
Ohhhhhhh sh!t. DING DING dammit. Ding Ding! Let’s go! Hmmm… that Kuratas is looking mean though (posted on it earlier here).

Flashback 1984: Jools Holland Covers The Jamaican Music Scene (Video)
Hahaaa! Guess he could not wait to try out his ‘wet suit.’ Back, back in the day, a budding band-member-turned-TV-personality, Jools Holland, did a documentary for Jamaica that aired on UK Channel 4 in 1984. Jam packed this half-hour clip with Jamaican music noteworthies – Dennis Brown, Black Uhuru, Wailing Souls, Yellowman, Mutabaruka, Sly & Robbie… Take a look!
Dominican Baseball Players (Video)
Interesting. Major League Baseball-affiliated programming that emphasizes literacy and a high school education for players; whether they get to play at a high level or not.
Over the last few decades, the Dominican Republic has changed the face of American baseball by churning out talented players whose humble beginnings have helped cultivate a unique passion for the game. That passion is often due to dire circumstances that drive all focus to the diamond instead of the classroom. The result is thousands of young Dominican men sacrificing their education and formative years for a 2% chance of making it to the big leagues.
We sent Jaimie Sanchez to Boca Chica, a small, rural town that is home to the MLB’s training camps to visit Junior Noboa. Junior is the head of Latin American Affairs for the Arizona Diamondbacks and has helped develop a digital education program for their young players. We also see Boca Chica through the eyes of two players who were forced to adjust to life back home after their dreams of major league glory never became a reality.
– VICE SPORTS
So, with a program that insists on some level of education, the theory is that would be players would have something to fall back on; even if the fall from potential glory is a hard one. VICE SPORTS with yet another compelling story-behind-the-story.
Vinyl Destination | “DJ’s In Paris†With The Magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff (Video)
DJ Jazzy Jeff with another Vinyl Destination episode, DJ’s In Paris going hard all across Europe. Top highlights?
