‘Where To Invade Next’…How About Italy? (Movie Teaser)
So, we posted the “Where To Invade Next” trailer already. But check out this one on the coming soon Michael Moore film…all about Italy. Fair warning: At first, if you are in America with us, you are gonna hate a bit. But then maybe, just maybe, you will think, “Hey, they’re onto something over there.”
Angelo Casimiro Shows How To Build A BB8 Droid Like The One In “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (Video)
Prepare for full on nerdgasmic fascination! This kid just built a full-size, smartphone-controlled BB8 – just like in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” But that’s not all. He’s telling YOU how to build your own in the above video.
(Angelo’s a DIY genius! Hope he got some sponsor bucks from Ace or some of those product makers though. C’mon…Kick it in billion-dollar businesses. This is pure dopeness.)
Monitor Lizards Face Off And Fight (Video)
This Reptilian Wrestling League smackdown clip has been making its way around web world. (Like that? RWL? Just made it up. Copyright. Don’t bite!)
Crazy! It’s like we just missed the part where these two beasts talked their way into major beef (some “What the f#ck you say to me? What? Alright then SCRAP!”). And now it’s ON! Lizards locked in leg-to-leg-to-leg-to-leg combat to settle… whatever it is that’s got ’em so heated they ignore the camera man, people and busy street.
Two-Hour Live Interview With Kanye West (Video)
People’s misunderstanding of me is a misunderstanding of themselves.
– Kanye West
Okay, say what you will about Kanye (and you will, just the way it is), but the man is a phenomenon. And as such, we are almost equally blessed and stressed by what we know and think we know about him. And even when so-called ‘craziness’ comes to light related to dude, we’re more likely to run toward it than away. But this low-key live interview interaction with Ye gives us another look at the man, dispelling some myths (letting others ride), talking in the way of a misunderstood legend. Think John Lennon back in the day when watching this (uh oh, might have to do some more Googling, ha).
Good watch. Right under two hours… wow! Full transcript available, too.
History: A Celebration Of Confederate Pride… In Brazil? (Video)
Sure, okay. The South lost the Civil War (oops, War Of Northern Aggression…whatev). BUT, did you know that by the end of the divisive North American war, there was still legal and thriving slavery farther south; as in South America. Specifically, in Brazil; where then Alabama Senator William Norris led a migration of over 10,000 Confederate loyalists to settle. The town was called Americana, of all things; truly an idyllic place for those slave-seeking settlers who came looking to pick up where they left off not-so-long-ago in The States…to live where things were still the way they should be for the most part.
How do we know? VICE is telling us so (above). Amazing [is one word for it]! Talk about a Deeper South version of Ol’ Dixie. Wow. Check it out. It’s the third story in this episode of Daily VICE.
Today on Daily VICE we head out on the road with legendary punk band Dillinger Four, give advice on how to make your booze taste better, search for buried treasure with deep-sea robots, and uncover the enduring Confederate pride of one Brazilian town.

There it is. Music doing what it is supposed to do… The music entered his soul and spoke… made him a dancehall producer and bade him come to its home. Now it feels like his home. Watch the above vignette of producer Dre Skull traveling (once again) to Kingston; to immerse himself in the culture AND to link up with artist Popcaan to do work!
Aaaaah, back to Tuff Gong Studios. Others we’ve posted on have been there. See here.
Julie Walters Feels 50 Cent’s Tongue (Video)
Are you kidding? If anyone can not only keep his “9 Shots” story lively, then turn it into a song that’s funky, then turn it into something funny, then have the whole thing turn into something freaky, it’s 50 Cent.
Rapper 50 Cent talks about taking 9 bullets in the horrific shooting incident that nearly cost him his life. Julie Walters is only interested in feeling his tongue.
Talk about tongue-in-cheek… well, this is cheeky Julie Walters’ finger in 50’s mouth (saying, “Oh yeah, I can feel it”). Whaaaat?! Only in the UK. Only on the Graham Norton Show.

Triple 9 (UK Trailer)
We posted the Red Band trailer for “Triple 9” a while back. Now as the February 19, 2015, theatrical release date approaches, we get the UK trailer for the film. Watch that above.
When a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist, they realise the only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down”. The chaos that ensues when a police officer is shot in the line of duty is just the diversion they’ll need to do the job, but whether they have the will to kill one of their own is an entirely different matter. Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action packed finale tangled with double-crosses, greed and revenge.

Sean Falyon – “Still Everywhere” (Video)
#SFBE never truer for Sean Falyon [Be Everywhere] than when he caught that flight overseas. Checking in from Tokyo, cam in hand everywhere he jammed, the Beard Whisperer put together a li’l something to go with that “Still Everywhere” freestyle he dropped (posted on here a while back).

Carmelo Anthony Goes To Puerto Rico, To ‘Stay Melo’ In The Hood To Do Some Good And More (Video)
New Stay Melo ep on VICE Sports for y’all. Last one was about Cuba. This time it’s Puerto Rico.
Carmelo Anthony recognizes, like most looking outside in, that Puerto Rico is currently in economic decline. But to Melo it’s a place of family, opportunity and a growing sports culture. He goes to chill (Melo out, if you will) but also to do some goodwill and good work. Spent a few days training with a group of fellow Knicks, seeing the stadium that will house his Puerto Rico FC NASL team, riding out to La Perla (one of Puerto Rico’s most notorious hoods), hanging out with reggaeton legend Tempo (home after a 12 year prison bid) at one of the b-ball courts Melo has refurbished for the community and more stuff.
Sure, ballers are in the League…balling. But with all that wealth, if you aren’t doing something…you got nothing! Just saying. Now, watch and listen as Melo does something; and shares and wrestles with his vision for what he’d like to accomplish in PR.

The latest demonstration of craft mastery from this “modern-day samurai  oh… just cutting a baseball, flying at him at 100 mph, in half while standing about 30 feet away from where it was fired. That’s all. You do know that a baseball mound is over twice that far from a major league batter at home plate, right?
Watch reeeeallly close in the clip above. The slice so deadly precise happens in the blink of an eye!

DJ Jazzy Jeff and the fellas a half-world away. Hong Kong, hit some shops, get some sneaks, rock the spot. Then to Melbourne: Hop a plane and do it again (well, first time for Dayne Jordan but still). Yeah, just another Vinyl Destination episode.
DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Vinyl Destination crew are in Hong Kong. No visit to Hong Kong is complete without a trip to the renowned Sneaker Street. DJ Ferno and Dayne Jordan can’t believe their eyes as they peruse the shops in amazement. After the show, Dayne gets a chance to connect with fans old and new. Next up is Sydney, Australia where things get heated for Jeff at the hotel and the show. Later, Steve takes time to reflect on his experiences while roaming the streets of Melbourne.
Luxurious life of globetrotters. Oh look, hot Mickey D’s. Awesome. And hotter hotel rooms. Super awesome. These ‘awesomes’ are sarcastic… just to clarify). Still good times. Watch.
China Opens The World’s Longest And Highest Glass-Bottomed Bridge (Video)
Whaaaat the…??? They’re talking about using this as a fashion show runway and a bungee jump. Man, y’all can have that sh!t. A glass-bottomed bridge that stretches more than a quarter-mile: I get dizzy just thinking about being up on it.
Zhangjiajie, a scenic national park in the country’s Hunan province, is set to open the world’s longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge in July.
And it’s a footbridge that can support 800 people? Wow, now China is just stuntin’ on fools. Check out the news clip above.

Carmelo Anthony Goes To Cuba To Cover Soccer, Soak In The Culture and Scoop Some Cigars (Video)
Very dope. And the time is right. Soccer (e.g. football, futbol) being the world sport it is, America being a leading sports nation, and Melo being a leading sportsman from America…
Throughout the NBA off-season VICE Sports and Carmelo Anthony are exploring street sport cultures around the world. In our premiere episode, Melo travels to Cuba to explore the rise of soccer in a nation synonymous with baseball, ride a 1950s drop top in the rain, and grab some fresh rolled Cuban cigars along the way.
Carmelo was a good choice for a correspondent, too. This VICE Sports piece felt more like interesting leisure than intense learning; enriching experience captured on video either way.
eSports Is Real, Really Big, And Serious Business Worldwide (Video)
Okay, so we thought we were talking big sporting with the earlier post on ‘Fantasy Football’ but DAMN…
Today, there are more people in the world who play the online multiplayer battle game League of Legends than there are people who live in France.
– VICE
Wowwww. More folks playing one game than the number of folks that live in a country! We have slept; but VICE is going to wake us up and hip us to the world of competitive gaming — also known as eSports. So real, and really exciting. Really lucrative, too… but really brutal at times.
Start with Part 1 above. Continue after the jump. A deep, multi-part story from VICE.
Technology: Miracle Motorbike Can Go 300 Miles On A Quart Of Water! (Video)
That motor sounds like the space cars on The Jetsons cartoon Hahaaaa!
And that’s the last laugh, because this futuristically powered motorbike is serious business. I am surprised that Big Auto or some oil company has not put a hit out on dude …yet. Then again, no matter how fast or far gas prices come down, can they ever really compete with a bike that travels 310 miles on a little more than a quart of water? With no exhaust pollutants; just water vapor? WOWOWWWWW! This is good tech.
A motorcycle able to travel up to 500 kilometres (310 miles) on a litre of water was trumpeted by creator Ricardo Azevedo in Sao Paulo, Monday.
Called the ‘T Power H20,’ the design features a combination of water and a single, external car battery used to produce electricity and separate the hydrogen from the water molecule. The process, involving a pipe-system, results in combustion which subsequently creates the energy necessary to power the bike.
