That right there. Is that some gangster sh!t to say or WHAT??! Travolta’s play gangster before, but it seemed like he was ‘playing.’ This “Gotti” film is NOT for play-play. Watch the trailer.
GOTTI follows infamous crime boss John Gotti’s (John Travolta) rise to become the “Teflon Don†of the Gambino Crime Family in New York City. Spanning three decades and recounted by his son John Jr. (Spencer Lofranco), GOTTI examines Gotti’s tumultuous life as he and his wife (Kelly Preston) attempt to hold the family together amongst tragedy and multiple prison sentences.

Not all the way sure WTF this movie is gonna be (a “crime comedy” though?). But I know that Matt Damon is a solid movie bet (e.g. he does not make trash) and this trailer has me hooked! Plus the title: “Suburbicon.”
Yooooo! PLUS… mad people get f*cked the f*ck up in this flick quick (looking at the trailer)! YUSSSH!!! Hitting folks dead in the FACE, hitting screens October 27th!
George Clooney directs (he doesn’t make trash either, he and Damon have that “Oceans Eleven” franchise connection, too).

Christopher Meloni Stars In SyFy’s Original “Happy!” Coming To Starting December 6th (Trailer)

Well, would you look at this… Elliot Christopher Meloni Stabler from “Law & Order: SVU” has got himself another gig. Looks like a cross between “Roger Rabit” and “Sin City” – like those two flicks had a fling and abandoned the baby. And it grew up with no home training, unhinged and macabre af! Probably helps the aura of this movie; the fact that Meloni also starred in the very graphic “Sin City” sequel.
But enough of the past. This trailer is for “Happy!” (based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name). The series follows Nick Sax (played by Meloni) – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hitman – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named Happy (Patton Oswalt).

Dope movies ought to have dope sounds associated with them, right? Yes. Like this “Pathways” flick. Good movie. Confirmed because the squad saw and approved (you should if you have not already). Now, for the tunes. Listennnn!
All music on this soundtrack either appeared in the film Pathways (Sean’s Lament), has been used to promote the film or has been inspired by the film. These are some of my favorite songs from some of the dope artists I know and were part of my backdrop while writing the film. Best. “Black Panther” Teaser. Ever!! (Trailer)

Okay, so Wakanda is not real. But styling its geography, geopolitics, and people makes the “Black Panther” movie real enough to reward watchers for agreeing to suspend disbelief. In other words, we don’t feel stupid for believing in vibranium-fueled fights… in ancient hidden cities laden with high-tech… spaceship-looking flying back-and-forth… bustling cityscapes where many random vehicles, streets and buildings get wrecked…
If the storytelling is good, we will be here for it all. And from what this trailer is showing us, the storytelling is gonna be good.
Action-packed but so ‘real’ and so good! So really good it’s surreal!

The teaser doesn’t give much away about the story, but it might give you a case of the heebies and the jeebies (that ‘music’ though)! A little digging… so Natalie Portman’s character’s husband got into a spot of trouble in a spot that’s like a dark Narnia meets the Savage Land meets the Bermuda Triangle. Guess the rest of the story will come to us on or before 1st quarter 2018.
Based on Jeff VanderMeer’s best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy, “Annihilation” stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac. It was written and directed by Alex Garland (“Ex Machina,” “28 Days Later”).
