“Hansen vs. Predator” To Pick Up Where “To Catch A Predator” Left Off (Video)
Yoooooo! Remember that “To Catch A Predator” show with Chris Hansen – where he’d catch the pervy pedophiles trying to set up trysts with preteens? Well, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, it’s coming back! Reminisce with the above clip of another dude caught nearly in the act from a throwback episode.
Fundraising for Hansen’s new show, “Hansen vs. Predator,” surpassed its goal of $75,000 to reach $85,685. Learn more here.
Kanye West Performing “Gold Digger” Back In 2003 (Video)
Yeezus H. West! Back before Ye went beast mode in the game, he was doing conference gigs just like a lot of cats… only they did not likely have John Legend on the keys. Ha!
The beat is waaaay different, less-evolved than what you’d recognize as “Gold Digger” but listen to the lyrics and there is no doubt. Watch some throwback Kanye goodness.
Unseen Throwback Footage Of Amy Winehouse (Video)
The “Amy” film will come out November 2, 2015. But check out this intimate never-before-seen clip of Amy Winehouse being plain ol’ Amy. Plenty of close-ups; none of them ‘ugly’ (despite what she says).
Why’re you filming me so close? I’m ugly.

Classic Clips 1996: Snoop Dogg x Tupac Shakur Mobilize The Community To Vote (Video)
Remember when Hip-Hop HAD to say something?? Even the most gangsta, clowning around, sex-driven, smoke-you-down, or whatever rap act had to have a stance on, or answers to, the political questions of the day back in The Golden Era. Well, check out some visual ’90s gold: Death Row Records labelmates Snoop, Tupac, Hammer (yup)… even CEO Suge Knight at a political rally doing right by the community. Great clip!
Throwback: Dave Chappelle In This 1990 ‘Spread The Word – High School HIV/AIDS’ Public Service Announcement (Video)
Okay, stop giggling. Dave really meant this. Trying to get down with a serious work on a serious topic. Thinking about where he was in his career when this came out, let’s say he succeeded on several fronts. Eventually finding his comedic lane to ride gave him a bigger voice for a much larger audience; but this shows that the actor/comedian already had a mind to say something of substance before he really got on. Watch.
Okay “Control Your Jimmy” is funny… but don’t bag on the man’s skills. You see he is not rapping today.
Sean Price Music Video Tribute Mix (Video)
This is so dope! Respect to Deejay Irie for doing justice to the Hip-Hop giant Sean Price. Rest in Peace shout to P!
8-8-2015 the Hip hop community lost Sean Price a.k.a. the brokest rapper you know. Like many I’m shocked to hear this. Sean P is one of my top 5 all time favorite rappers. For this reason I decided to pay homage to him by creating a video mix with only Sean P spitting those crazy, funny, clever and real rhymes that we all love.

Miguel – “Crazy Enough” (Mini-Documentary)
“I’ve never loved anything more than music. I’ve never imagined or envisioned myself doing anything else… I was just crazy enough to believe deeper than the odds, I suppose.”
– Miguel
As humans moving through life as best we can, we often wish could go back and [at least] talk to our past selves. Had to strike a chord within us to see this piece that blends throwback footage a hopeful up-and-coming Miguel blended with commentary from the seasoned mega-talent we have come to know over the years since. SO much insight on the artist, and the man, in a short clip. Watch.
[B]ack in 2008, we shot a young hopeful in San Pedro. He took us by his house, told us about his family. He was stuck, then, in a contract with a label that wanted him to be somebody different. He was busy holding the line, a little flustered, but not shook. He believed. When we went back to him this summer, we found the same person.

Flashback 1984: Jools Holland Covers The Jamaican Music Scene (Video)
Hahaaa! Guess he could not wait to try out his ‘wet suit.’ Back, back in the day, a budding band-member-turned-TV-personality, Jools Holland, did a documentary for Jamaica that aired on UK Channel 4 in 1984. Jam packed this half-hour clip with Jamaican music noteworthies – Dennis Brown, Black Uhuru, Wailing Souls, Yellowman, Mutabaruka, Sly & Robbie… Take a look!
Kanye And His Mom Rapping “Hey Mama” Live From The Kitchen (Video)
Wow. Start your day off with joy. Check out a much younger Kanye West and his mom (Donda) rap a version of his single from his album “Late Registration” – “Hey Mama.” Whatever you feel about Mr. Ye-turned-Yeezus today, you gotta love this clip. Should also give you an understanding of how and why losing her affected him so deeply.
Big Daddy Kane Live at Tramps (1999) [Video]
Yup. It’s Hard Being The Kane. But it’s easy, real easy from this ’99 show clip, to see why BDK’s style still endures to this day. Big Daddy Kane is still doing it today. Reality check: If you are not checking for the K-A-N-E today, best believe you are checking for someone who was influenced by him. Reality checkmate! Enjoy.
KRS-ONE – “Late Night” (Unreleased) [1993]
Yoooo! It’s “The Return Of The Boom Bap” … so to speak. DJ [my brother’s name is] Kenny Parker uploaded a jewel from 1993 for all the Interwebs to enjoy. This unreleased “Late Night” is the Blast Master going on and on with all the buzz and crackle that’ll make everyone who tried to rap back then reminisce. A treasure from the Golden Era that did not make “The Return…” LP.

ODB and GZA freestyling… in the bathroom! How real is that? How classic!! This is how we used to do. Wonder of music box caught anybody ‘catching wreck’ (so Golden Era today) in the cafeteria. Beatboxing is one thing, but nothing beats a beat beat out on a lunchroom table.
