And teaming up with Comedy Central staples Nick Kroll and Jordan Peele is a no-brainer to make a gut-buster of a sketch clip. But this. These dudes are dangerously hilarious in this. Like if gunmen came through and threatened, “The next m*therf*cker that laughs is DEAD,” and played this clip… Y’ALL GONE DIE!

Dear real American football: You took an L for this round. Have you SEEN this technical extracurricular activity they had poppin’ at the football (okay futbol, happy?)?? A hoverboard pilot delivered the soccer game ball to the official like a f#cking superhero (well, supervillain, if you go the Green Goblin route)!
The match ball for the 2017 Portuguese Cup final was delivered to the referee by a man on a drone. The man rode the spider-like drone around 70m in driving rain before landing by the match official near the halfway line and handing the ball over. Benfica won the game 2-1, beating Vitória de Guimarães and completing their 11th league and cup double.

Alright, by now we know Charles Barkley is a Hall Of Famer… at chicken wings AND at chastizing co-color commentator Shaquille O’Neal. Oh, and at basketball. Haaa! Barkley has NO chill going at The Diesel! But Shaq pulls NO punches either in this [sort of uncomfortable] on-set ‘disagreement.’
This Inside The NBA segment goes off the rails when Shaq and Charles Barkley threaten to punch and throw chicken wings at each other while trading barbs.

Every now and then, you get to thinking about a man or woman who played some memorable role in a movie or TV series… Often you know or find out that they are still around; maybe they moved on to the next thing (like Patrick Stewart, doing Captain Picard going from Star Trek: The Next Generation to the Professor X of the X-Men franchise) or they are still riding the hell out of their lane (Hugh Jackman does other stuff, but he IS Wolverine). But what about those one-and-done actors. Some have left this mortal life (RIP Michael Clarke Duncan from The Green Mile), but others just quit. Why?

So Lifetime is gonna do The King Of Pop’s biopic. Interesting. Wonder if it will be more something for the fans, or really go into the never-talk-about parts of the ruler of Neverland.
Based on the best-selling book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson In His Final Days, and told through the eyes of Jackson’s trusted bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. The movie will reveal firsthand the devotion Michael Jackson had to his children, and the hidden drama that took place during the last two years of his life.

YES!!! Debuting on CBS television, then moving to CBS All Access, the first new Star Trek TV series in 16 years is on the way. Coming this Fall, Star Trek: Discovery! Full disclosure: I am VERY biased in favor of this series for three huge reasons: For one, because Star Trek. Second, there’s my major crush on star Sonequa Martin-Green (whose character went out like a G on AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ a few weeks ago). And then, yooooo, when Michelle Yeoh gives the order to ‘contact Starfleet’ because they have ‘engaged the Klingons’ … I got the same tingles when Captain Piccard (Patrick Stewart) delivered the classic line back in the day (“We have engaged The Borg”).
Before Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise there was Discovery. Now, one of the most iconic and influential global franchises returns to television with Star Trek: Discovery. The CBS All Access Original Series arrives this Fall.
Maaaan, I got two boners. Nerd boner. And, well, it’s almost noon, right?

Black Lightning (First Look Series Trailer)

If you remember the B-rate “Black Vulcan” hero from the old, old Superfriends cartoon that used to come on in, like, the 1970s and 1980s… Don’t worry, this is NOT that. Not much cheese being teased in this DC series trailer. At all! Way to go DC. Looks like you folks are learning what Marvel / Netflix has to teach you about making small screen storytelling. Now, if the TV folks (esp. the producers of The Flash and Arrow) could pass some notes to the DC movie makers. Shot.
In fact, I wil go ahead as say it before you do: This trailer for DC’s newest forthcoming hero series – “Black Lightning” – looks and feels a LOT like some Luke–Cage-meets-Daredevil ‘ish. No shot, just saying.
(Oh, on that shot at DC movies, the first two ‘Superman’ movies were good (RIP Christopher Reeve), Michael Keaton ‘Batman’ vs. Jack Nicholson ‘Joker’ was groundbreaking, and ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy was dope. Respect due. Just that recent ‘Superman vs. Batman’ and ‘Suicide Squad’… at best, on a scale of wack to dope, they score a solid meeeehhh. Solid, but meh).
