Western History Vs. African History (Video)

Hmmm… How deep can deep get? Africans did not even see themselves as Africans, or being tied to the African continent… and even the name “Africa” is derivative of what Westerners / Europeans imposed. Watch Dr. John Henrik Clarke drop serious science and knowledge on that, and more, above.

An analysis of the history of Africa as compared to Western civilization. European scholars asserted that the so-called ‘Egyptians’ were non-African until C. Diop’s melanin pigmentation test on Pharaohs proved otherwise.

Ray Allen Knows His Move From Boston To Miami Was Hard On The Fans. But Management & Teammates, They Should Understand… It Was Business (Video)

Plain talk from former Celtics standout Ray Allen. Here he is in Shanghai, telling his side of the story. In essence, he is letting viewers & fans know that it wasn’t him wanting to leave Boston, it was the Celtics… not doing what it took to keep him there. No beef with nobody on his side, even though some folks apparently reeeeally had HEAT for him for taking his talents to South Beach.

Ray Allen spoke in an exclusive interview with Tencent’s Lisa Hsu about the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Paul Pierce and being a champion. Tencent, ESPN’s partner in China, is hosting its annual Super Penguin Basketball Celebrity Game in Shanghai.
– ESPN

Makes some good points in this interview. Pro sports is BUSINESS, not personal. And there is NO loyalty. The Celts could have dropped Allen, and that would be that; not a tear shed.

Michael Rapaport Was There When Pac And Snoop Met (Video)

Yoooo! The Stormy Fronts commentary ruled (funny and fine af)! Rapaport was cool (but excited to be there) as a fan blowing the smoke cloud away from Snoop… but the ‘weather’ report though. Yessssirrrr! Oh okay, the ‘news’ was good, too.

Today on GGN, the one and only Michael Rapaport stops by and describes bearing witness to the first time Snoop and Pac met. All this and more on this week’s GGN… u-bitch-u!!! Make sure you check out the “I Am Rapaport Podcast” on iTunes, or at IAmRapaport.com for more of this guy’s lunacy!

Okay, score on for REVOLT TV for a full hour of power with MC Hammer. He’ll always be MC Hammer to me. Respect! Politics/Comedy: Seth Meyers Says, “Hey, Hillary Clinton, Stop Blaming Bernie Sanders” (Video)

Okay, I will admit to not watching a whole lot of Late Night With Seth Meyers. No reason. No hate. Always thought dude was funny. Plus, there’s the YouTube… where apparently the system knows I would like some stuff he says and suggests his clips to me.

Know what? YouTube is RIGHT! This “Hey!” clip is EPIC!

I did not even know Senator Clinton was throwing the shade at Senator Sanders in her book like that. And don’t worry, I got a clip with Bernie Sanders giving a rebuttal, with a pivot, to focus us on the REAL issues. No matter what, we need to keep our eyes on the prize(s) in #FeelTheBern mode after the jump.

But wait! Watch the hilariousness (and insight) above from Meyers.

(Full disclosure: I have not read Hillary Clinton’s book. Probably good though.)

Trina Talks About ‘Catty’ Women, A New Album With Trick Daddy, And Starring On ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ (Video)

Hmm… Gotta love Trina for her lasting, lovely looks. Still beautiful after all these years. Bringing sexiness to Hip-Hop circles for certain.

But you know, many would say the same about Amber Rose. So, okay, The Drink Champs can now boast that BOTH have been on the show. And both (you’ll see) made great guests. Very engaging convo as the libations flow.

Tall Tales? Nah, All Truth From Lil’ Cease Talking With The ‘Drink Champs’ (Video)

Never before has that Andre 3 Stacks lyric seemed more apropos. Every other sentence in this libation-laced pow-wow should end with, “Let the liquor tell it.” Incredible (almost “Unbelievable”… get it? Because Biggie)!

Joined by Jadakiss, Lil’ Cease, the Junior M.A.F.I.A. member, tells never-before-heard tales on Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. Lil’ Cease reveals Outlawz told him Tupac was ready to squash B.I.G. beef. On Drink Champs, the Junior M.A.F.I.A. frontman tells phenomenal stories detailing being the driver of a car accident that left Biggie hospitalized for months; Notorious B.I.G.’s aspiration for life after the “Life After Death” LP; and Jadakiss chimes in on who was targeted on some of Biggie’s “You’ll See” rhymes. (Here’s a hint: their name rhymes with ‘The Fox’).

Tennessee Bests Georgia Tech By One Point, 42-41, In Overtime, At Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Video)

Okay, stay with me. The Saturday Florida State vs. Alabama game was the college football debut for Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the kickoff for the season. But last night was the Chik-Fil-A Season Kickoff. Got a problem with two kickoff games at Atlanta’s premier football venue. Can you get over it if you do? Let college football be great!

And it was great, esp. last night. While Alabama put Saturday’s game (highlights here) in the books well before the end of regulation, the Tennessee Volunteers and the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets kept kicking and stinging and fighting… all the way through intense overtime play. A true nail-biter to the end that, which should make broadcast advertisers and event sponsors hella happy (as there was NO turning away).

Watch the highlights above. And MAAAAAD respect to Georgia Tech for going for two and the win at the end. That’s guts. THAT’S FOOTBALL!

Issa Rae Speaks On The Success Of ‘Insecure’ And Her ‘Awkward’ Time With Drake (Video)

I’m a red-blooded woman, and I love male body parts.

Yeah, ol’ sexy smooth choco-skinned Issa Rae does it for me. Gotta admit. I don’t even watch ‘The View’ but seeing Issa… had to give a watch. She talks about fans taking the show seriously enough to ‘come for her in her mentions’ due to her cheating, on purposefully including lots of male nudity in her episodes (because, see the quote above), and she talks about the time she met Drake and…

…just watch.

Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium Opens College Football With Alabama Vs. Florida State (Video)

In every good way, it was a great kickoff for the new home to Atlanta football, Mercedes-Benz Stadium… and a bit ‘greater’ if you are a Crimson Tide fan. A good look on TV and it looked like an epic event was being enjoyed by those fortunate enough to be at the FSU vs. UA game live. Very unfortunate late game injury to FSU Seminole quarterback Francois though.

Watch the game highlight reel above.

African History: Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, Dr. Yosef Ben Jochannan Tell It “Like It Is” (Video)

African History is WORLD History! Africa MADE history, not just as the Motherland for all humanity; but for all kinds of advances. Evidence of an astronomical observatory, calendars, advanced husbandry and metal works… way in advance of when man supposedly first ‘discovered’ them… Yeah, this is vintage footage of Black scholars telling us – and offering strong arguments to support – that Africa had all that on lock.

The scholars even speak of the cultural character of ancient African civilizations. When Africans invade, they do not wipe out others’ civilizations. But when others invade…

Well, just watch. Wonder. Learn. SHARE!
