Let me start this right: swimsuit model Ashley Graham is fine as f#ck! Plus-size? Well, that’s what they might call. I’d say about her body what she’d say about it… it’s exactly My Size (and hella sexy)! Watch her TEDx Talk on her body image challenges and triumphs. Wow, Ashley is incredibly beautiful and inspiring!
Internationally-known body activist, model and entrepreneur, Ashley Graham, describes her journey into fashion industry stardom. She doesn’t leave out any gritty details, as she describes the challenging and rewarding progression toward becoming her own role model. Inspiring body confidence in the next generation, Ashley expresses the need for the universal embrace of body diversity as beauty paradigms continue to shift.

Gary Vaynerchuk Gives His ‘Amplify Live Experience’ Keynote Address (2016) [Video]
Be self-aware. Know thyself. Then be that to make your way to the top! Don’t be that entrepreneur trying be something else or trying to sell what you have… that line about business coaches who have not made money in any business other than ‘being a business coach’…zing!
And that’s just the beginning (really starting at 3 minutes). This is over an hour strong of Gary, the whole Gary, and nothing but Gary Vaynerchuk. But of course, in expected Vaynerchuk fashion, the time is mostly spent in question & answer format. But still… this is the realest of real talk (with a LOT of f#cking cussing). Press play now.

Al Elliott: We All Want To Matter (Video)
My dude Thed Weller! He goes by his born name, Al Elliott, when he is reaching and teaching the masses (Mr. Elliott when those masses are his 5th-grade students). So very proud of this brother. What a wonderful TEDx talk he gives about how important it is that we all feel like we matter and how we ALL play a role in making that happen. It’s probably not what you think, but it’s everything you could imagine or hope.
We all want to know that our ideas matter. In this touching talk, educator Al Elliott shares how was all have the opportunity – and the responsibility – to validate the ideas of others in our lives.

Comedian Billy Crystal Delivers Funny And Touching Eulogy For Muhammad Ali (Video)
Muhammad Ali. He is gone, but he will NEVER die. Billy Crystal speaks TRUTH as he lovingly eulogizes the man who called him his “little brother” ever since they bonded decades ago. Watch the clip above of comedian Crystal at Ali’s homegoing. After the jump, see the “15 Rounds” performance that so impressed The Greatest early in life.
Politics: Bernie Sanders Rally In South Bronx With Rosario Dawson, Spike Lee And More (Video)
I’m very excited about the fact that I don’t have to vote against someone… that I get to vote for someone… who’s on our side… who marched with Martin Luther King… who can draw a crowd that makes me dizzy with happiness and love and excitement.
– Rosario Dawson
Feel that? It’s the Bern! Great lead-off to an hour-strong ‘Bernie Sanders For President’ rally in the South Bronx (New York) by the uber-sexy (yes) actor-activist Rosario Dawson. Spike Lee and other noteworthy folks were on hand. Thousands of fanatic supporters. And the Senator-Who-Would-Be-President, Bernie Sanders.
Coming for those electors, New York. Game on, Hillary. This is it! Press play #FeelTheBern
Real Time With Bill Maher: New Rule – Crass Warfare (Video)
Okaaaay, apparently Donald Trump has already engaged discourse with leaders beyond the U.S. border. Judging by Mexican President Vicente Fox’s reaction (a.k.a. the F-bomb heard around the world), Trump’s big ideas may not be ‘well-received.’ Truth is, The Donald has pushed political discourse stateside and worldwide too far. And as ‘President Maher‘ might proclaim, that sh!t needs to stop! But there’s no ‘New Rule’ against laughing at a little satire before it does.
In his editorial New Rule, Bill Maher takes viewers to a not-too-distant future where the crass language of the campaign trail makes its way into the Oval Office.
Think about it though. Those included clips are of candidate Trump speaking in public; cussing out loud at crowds. Just saying, maybe think about that on the way to the ballot box.
The Murder of Fred Hampton (Documentary Trailer)
‘All Power To The People’ as a concept should not scare us. Fred Hampton’s stance in the above trailer comes through just as plain and clear on grainy archival footage as it would were he standing flat-footed saying it to our faces today: ‘If you are scared of socialism…you are scared of yourselves.’Â How deep is that?!
This trailer was made before Fred Hampton’s death when the film was to be called “Black Panther.” It shows Hampton (August 30, 1948 — December 4, 1969) giving a speech on revolution and racism in front of a large audience. Includes glimpses of Panthers Bobby Rush and Bobby Seale and filmmaker Howard Alk. This trailer is not included in the DVD release of the film.

Black History is OUR history, all of ours (not just Black people’s). You should watch this; even after February 29th.
Compton Awards The ‘Key To The City’ To Kendrick Lamar (Video)
Man, I’m overwhelmed… y’all got to give me a second…
Kendrick Lamar. Yes, the Dr. Dre protege; the Grammy winner (winning on stage, too); the dude doing good from the Hood to the [White] House; and now, recipient of the Key To The City Of Compton. Watch him in all graciousness, and almost no glamorizing. Love shown by the city for the love he has and always will show right back. Respect!
Shout out to Jeandra LeBeauf and BadCulture.net for capturing this proud moment for us all.
Politics: Killer Mike Endorses Bernie Sanders For President (Video)
If you lean to the left (e.g. are likely to vote Democrat in the coming 2016 U.S. election), you should be gathering information and forming impressions NOW. Because before you know it, you will have a decision to make. Every person who has ever run for office has understood that, in order to win, she or he must be supported and admired (and hated) by the right people. So, if you’re thinking Hilary Clinton’s the one, I hope you are learning who is for and against her. Alternatively, if you are taking a hard look at Bernie Sanders – “feeling the Bern” as it were – then you should take a look at the clip above. We KNOW you love Hip-Hop and the Culture if you come to this site often. But maybe “Politics As Usual” has soured you on voting (or even caring). I hope you read my VOTE DAMMIT! posts on here (whether you lean left or right). But maybe they don’t fire you up. But this vid… this vid right here… Just play it. Watch Killer Kill From Adamsville, and it will GIVE YOU BACK YOUR FIRE and make you care about the fight again. In a most powerful way, his speech above makes it clear: Killer Mike Endorses Bernie Sanders, the next President of the United States!
Now sure, you will make your own decision in that ballot box, but a candidate is known and judged by the company she or he keeps; and the enemies she or he makes. Do your research. Who is in who’s corner? What fights is your candidate picking? I’m not sure I completely #FeelTheBern yet, but the temperature is rising.
Oh, and just in case you are thinking this is just more ‘politicking’ peep after the jump. The whole event, including what Bernie Sanders has to say (and eat).

Kanye West Addresses Graduates Of L.A. Trade Technical College (Video)
Just think… Whatever you think about the man, having Yeezus show up and give a real talk at your graduation would rate high among your college memories. Even cooler if a popular campus brag has been that Professor West was once part of the faculty there. Well, Guess Who’s Bizzack? Yep, took it there for a sec. Watch Kanye West address L.A. Trade Tech’s newest cap-n-gowners.
Yasiin Bey Speaks On Ferguson, Michael Brown And Eric Garner
It’s only right we hear the considered words of Yasiin Bey on recent reminders of tragic realities of being Black in America. He uses the word ‘reaffirming’ – as in confirmation things have been eff’d up for Black folks here. But that realization is spoken (with noteworthy quotes laced into the mini-speech) to powerfully by Brother Bey here.
“Where are we? We are at a critical time. We are at a watershed moment… been here longer than we realize…”
– Yasiin Bey
