Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (International Trailer)
Niiiiice! Two-minute trailer with the Dark Lord of The Force’s Dark Side… Darth Vader… front and center. Maaaan, hurry up with that December release. More butter and salt for your popcorn chomping pleasure. International ticket sales for “Rogue One” must be expected to jump out the gym with a final promo push like this.
Ghost in the Shell Trailer (Trailer)
This ain’t Black Widow. Nah, no Romanoff. No Avenger movie here. While Marvel takes a break from her characters, ScoJo is going dolo in the sci-fi action genre. This “Ghost In The Shell” teaser is dope in the eeriest ways. But the filmmaker doesn’t skimp on the sexy either: Skin tights on during the fights, and ScoJo is kissing a girl (ever so gently…nice). See her pitch and trailer above.
Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “Ghost In The Shell” follows Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
“Ghost In The Shell”, starring Scarlett Johansson, is coming to theaters March 31, 2017.
Attraction (Official Trailer #2)

A Real-Life ‘Autobot’ (Video)
Yeah, yeah. Call us nerds or geeks or whatever, but this sh!t is cool as… as… Transformers in REAL LIFE! Nothing cooler than that. This is sci-fi tech gone wild in the best way.
Now, not saying this beats our battle robot stories BUT it’s dope nonetheless. A long way from those ‘pop up’ transforming funny cars at the tractor pulls at the Georgia Dome way, way back in the day. No shots. Just saying…
Arrival (Trailer)
When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity. In theatres November 11, 2016.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Official Trailer)
Oh sure, you’ve seen teasers and behind-the-scenes videos for the next in the “Star Wars” saga films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” but this… THIS is the OFFICIAL trailer. Well worth the billing. And when you’re giving ‘top billing’ to a trailer, the actual movie better be damned epic! No indication above that it will be anything less.
Watch the official trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in which a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters December 16, 2016.
Kong: Skull Island Official (Comic-Con Trailer)
Comic-Con trailers be OFF THE CHAINMAIL!! This “Kong: Skull Island” trailer that debuted at this year’s event. They say the Con is for nerds, but sheeeeeeit, we’ll be dat then. WATCH the trailer! Did you SEE what the monster ape did to the choppers??? Rock’em sock’em crash-bam-BOOM! Mankind is not long for this Earth in King Kong’s world.
And it is his world… come 2017.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Behind The Scenes Video)
Really hoping they go kinda old school with the making of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Such is implied in this behind the scenes video with the cast and crew. Some things you just can’t get out of computer simulations and green screenery. Get in there heavy with action sequences, fight choreography, and rich set scenery. Please. For the Star Wars saga’s sake.
Dope. So dope. Watch.
Sci-Fi: Beyond (Short Film)
Gold mine find for the sci-fi minded! Very thoughtfully put together film short entitled “Beyond.” In it Arya Vega, the last remaining member of her family, a lineage with a unique genetic code (‘variant DNA’) that grants her the ability to teleport. DOPE! She goes on missions exploring new planets, but all the while she is in search of something that will explain who exactly she is and where she comes from.
Kudos to producer/director Raphael Rogers, doing the work himself with co-stars Bianca Malinowski and Andrew Varenhorst.
Only thing is… this seemed to be a taste… gotta be something more. It’s not too late for someone (e.g. some production outfit) to pick up and continue the story.
Amazing Landing Of A Boeing 777 at Frankfurt Airport (Video)
An amazing technological feat – a plane transforming and landing on its own feet – whether it was an animation or not. For the record, yes, it was. Watch, and you see if you can determine what ‘gave it away.’
(Still hella cool.)
