Hulk And Thor Are Fighting? Loki Is Teaming With Both Of Them? It Must Be “Ragnarok” (Video)
Careful Marvel. The Hulk is doing a LOT of talking in this trailer. That’s one of the several ways Ang Lee messed up in ‘that movie we Marvel fans don’t talk about’… and I’m REALLY trying hard to forget that Hulk movie. Keep it to two or three words at a time. Like ‘Hulk SMASH!’
That said, it looks good. The trailer I mean. A lot closer to a “Guardians Of The Galaxy” look and feel. Watch and get ready for November!

Get Ready Sonequa Martin-Green, Starring In The New ‘Star Trek’ Series This Fall (Series Trailer)
Watch the explosive trailer for the next chapter of the Star Trek franchise. Star Trek: Discovery premieres September 24th on CBS All Access.
I hope you haven’t sleeping on Sonequa Martin-Green, esp. when she was on Talking Dead, as a guest talking about her role on AMC’s The Walking Dead. She’d be dressed up and made up like WHOA! – in direct contrast to her necessarily understated look on TWD. Well, she is far from dusty on her new show Star Trek: Discovery, though they still play down her beauty (you see it though).
Her ‘death’ on TWD did not hit fans as hard as ‘losing’ other characters because they knew Sonequa would be okay joining an ‘enterprise’ like the Star Trek franchise (see what we did there?). This dope trailer is just more evidence supporting how great this next chapter in the Star Trek lore is gonna be!
They Made A “Pacific Rim” Sequel? Yes! Get Ready For The “Uprising” (Trailer)
All the Jaeger pilots (but one) f*cking DIED in the most epic ways, like warriors, in “Pacific Rim.” So how could there be a sequel? Let me answer that question with a question: Do you care as long as it’s dope? That’s what I thought! Watch this “Pacific Rim: Uprising” trailer to get all the answers, and get as excited as folks at Comic Con 2017 did!
A new generation of Jaeger Pilots will stand tall for all humanity. What is a Jaeger? It’s you, times a thousand. Witness the next evolution of human invention, with the unveiling of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps Mark VI Jaeger Program, and visit GOJAEGER.COM to discover if you have what it takes to join the biggest heroes ever to walk the Earth.
One day, the monsters will return.

#PacificRimUprising
Ah… so there is a plan to rebuild the Jaeger Corps. Hope they get back up to fighting strength before any new monsters come – kaiji or otherwise.

Every Once In A While, Air Traffic Controllers Monitor “Close Encounters Of The Third Kind” Like This (Trailer)
Well okay then. So, Sunday, July 2nd was World UFO Day. Did you know? None of us did, so no points off if you didn’t. Now, watch this trailer for what must be a new “Close Encounters Of The Third Kind” movie (because, the music at the end) and see if YOU get it…
This means something.
This is important.

Watch A Real Life Transformer… Transform! (Video)
Transformer crazy nowadays, right? Especially with “The Last Knight” movie trying to blow up summer box offices. Well, whenever we get hold of something in the life-imitates-art department regarding Transformers, best believe it’s going up on here. Viola! An update from MSN on some real-life Transformer tech we posted on a while back. They (you know, the ‘powers that be’) must want to make it hard to embed and keep, so watch this while you can ASAP! Heck, the video we posted on here earlier already got yanked. Wonder if that means… Hmmm.
“Marvel’s Inhumans” Series Debuts This Fall (Series Trailer)
I am already a huge Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan. And they prominently feature Inhumans on that ABC series. Now, they are giving them their own series. Doooooope!
There’s a whole world of Inhumans out there. Meet the legendary Royal Family in Marvel’s Inhumans, coming to IMAX and ABC.
Hey, if Disney/ABC cannot have Mutants or X-Men… Inhumans will do. Inhumans will do big! Plus, there is always Cloak & Dagger on Freeform (posted the trailer on here earlier).
Besides, the Mutants will be on Fox and FX with The Gifted and Legion.

Tony Stark Makes A ‘Few Improvements’ To Peter’s Spidey Suit And Web Shooters Just In Time For “Homecoming” (Trailer)
Check out the newest trailer for @SpiderManMovie! It releases in theaters July 7th. #MadeInGeorgia pic.twitter.com/xn0Ob7w69q
— Everything Georgia (@GAFollowers) May 24, 2017
EPIC trailer for what ought to be an epic movie. Bet money that Michael Keaton is gonna be a smash as The Vulture in Spiderman: Homecoming. That said, Tom Holland (Peter Parker, Spiderman) is definitely the star. And he has two of the best parts of the trailer above. First of all, web grenade (dope!)… and second…
I stole his shield… Then he beat me up.
Watch the trailer above. Hurry up July 7th!
Star Trek: Discovery (First Look Series Trailer)
YES!!! Debuting on CBS television, then moving to CBS All Access, the first new Star Trek TV series in 16 years is on the way. Coming this Fall, Star Trek: Discovery! Full disclosure: I am VERY biased in favor of this series for three huge reasons: For one, because Star Trek. Second, there’s my major crush on star Sonequa Martin-Green (whose character went out like a G on AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ a few weeks ago). And then, yooooo, when Michelle Yeoh gives the order to ‘contact Starfleet’ because they have ‘engaged the Klingons’ … I got the same tingles when Captain Piccard (Patrick Stewart) delivered the classic line back in the day (“We have engaged The Borg”).
Before Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise there was Discovery. Now, one of the most iconic and influential global franchises returns to television with Star Trek: Discovery. The CBS All Access Original Series arrives this Fall.
Maaaan, I got two boners. Nerd boner. And, well, it’s almost noon, right?

Marvel Presents ‘The Gifted’ (Series Trailer)
Okay! So FOX is trying to eat off ‘superhero TV’ now. FX is on board for a second season of “Legion” – a show that leans on the door of the X-Men mutant universe. Now the big network of the FOX TV family is kicking that door in and sitting at the grownups’ table this Fall. They even have Bryan Singer at the storytelling helm. He’s the one who brought us those first Patrick Stewart x Hugh Jackman x Halle Berry X-Men! Here’s the series synopsis…
What tore them apart is what will bring them together. From Director Bryan Singer, and in association with Marvel Television, comes the all-new FOX series, “The Gifted.”
Action-adventure family drama “The Gifted,” from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Blade Runner 2049 (Trailer)
Far into the future since the original ‘Blade Runner’ on screen and in real life… and the story is far from over. New trailer for the sequel that’s been a long-time coming #BladeRunner2049
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
#BladeRunner2049, starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.
– Warner Bros. Pictures
So we have Ford, James, Bautista, and Leto. That’s Star Wars (old and new) and The Walking Dead (on AMC) repped, along with a ‘Guardian Of The Galaxy’ and a new school ‘Joker’… Looks like the futuristic sci-fi action-thriller casting for this movie is on point!
War For The Planet Of The Apes (Latest Trailer)
New Planet Of The Apes chapter on the way to the silver screens. But ’nuff all dumb stuff; while this whole trailer is boss, the scrap at the end of it is what you ought to be aching for! ‘Colonel’ Woody Harrelson versus simulated Caesar Of The Apes… TO THE DEATH!!!!
In War For the Planet Of The Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. Spider-Man: Homecoming (Latest Trailer)
Here we go yo! Spider-Man’s theatrical solo Marvel Universe debut (“Spider-Man: Homecoming”) is on us.
Does the suit make the man? Watch the all-new #SpiderManHomecoming trailer now and make sure to see it in theaters July 7.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in there. The Vulture (Michael Keaton) in there. Veterans like them giving young Spidey (Tom Holland) the business from all sides in this extended-length trailer!
Amazon’s Jeff Bezos Pilots The ‘Method-2’ Mech (Video)
South Korean robotics manufacturer Hankook Mirae Technology debuted its first prototype piloted mech, the Method-2.
Remember that sci-fi-come-to-life robot we posted on here a while back? Well, Jeff Bezos took it for a ride a few days back. And that’s big; as big as the movie monster bot (another demo reel of it above).
Pause: Who’s Jeff Bezos??? Oh, he runs Amazon. That all… BOOM! Like we said, BIG!
Building a movie bot is a project success. Getting rich folks excited about it? The business! Although military contracts would surely be expected to follow, Slate did some digging that revealed that they – maker Hankook Mirae Technology – ain’t ready yet (more here). Disaster relief and cleanup – that seems to be the ceiling for these mega man-driven machines. Not as sexy as a ‘War Machine’ (Marvel), but no small feat. And after the storm, when the help comes, best believe these will be welcomed like some of the hottest things walking!
I just got to pilot an awesome (and huge) robot thanks to Hankook Mirae Technology. Nice! #MARS2017 pic.twitter.com/MvN6ghEYFi

Geostorm (Official Teaser)
A couple of things… Star Trek: The Next Generation included planetary control tech in several episodes (read: we control weather in the future), and megabucks Bill Gates, aka The Nerd King, filed a patent for weather control tech way back in 2009 (read: the future is now). So, the geeks are already into this game deep. Now, all Hollywood has gotta do is not f*ck up a story we’ve been so ready for for so long.
After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world’s leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong — the system built to protect the Earth is attacking it, and it’s a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything…and everyone along with it.
– Warner Bros. Pictures
In the movie “Geostorm,” Gerard Butler stars as Jake, a scientist who, along with his brother, Max (played by Jim Sturgess), is tasked with solving the satellite program’s malfunction. Lots of world-getting-f*cked-the-f*ck-up action in the trailer. Good start for the promo run.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 (Latest Trailer)
Alright. That’s it! “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” is gonna be that heat to take us into summer. Easy bet. Unless they smoked all the plot pot doing this trailer. Not hardly, but just saying. Hell, the dots and dashes handheld football game from back in the day in there was enough. Done. Haaaha!
Big action sci-fi fantasy with big guns and blasts. Alien eye candy. Comedic timing. Everything you need for a space epic in the Marvel Universe. Watch and enjoy!
Kong: Skull Island (Final Trailer)
OHHHHHHH SH!T OHHHHHHHH SHHHHHIIIIEEEETT!!! Kong is hollering and karate’ing the sh!t out of kaiji monsters and helicopters and sh!t! That’s how you get a muthaf*ka ready for a muthaf*kin movie!!
(Breathe.)
Okay, so please, please, please, Warner… Please let this “Kong: Skull Island” film be as dope as the trailer is selling. Most mega-monster movies skimp on the visuals of the main monster. But hell, the trailers for the latest “Kong” movie are bathed in Kong imagery (‘Bathing Ape’… get it?). Click play and get one more dose of super-sized azz-kickery in the teaser above before the film’s theatrical release on March 10, 2017.
Alien: Covenant (Trailer #2)
The path to paradise begins in hell.
Wow! “Alien: Covenant” is trying to come with it. Definitely doing so in the new trailer that just came out. Hope they are saving something for May 19, 2017.
That line about “You hear that… nothing” though? Whew! Gotta know sh!t was about to get really hectic right after that!
Movie-Like Robot Could Aid In Future Disaster-Relief Efforts (Video)
Art mirrors life. Sure. But art influences life. No doubt! You have seen me speak on here on how getting nerds excited about making sci-fi into scientific fact is a beautiful thing, right? Well, you’re about to read me do it again!
A robot likened to those in “Transformers” and “Alien” has been built in South Korea. Controlled by someone inside the head, It is meant to help in disaster areas.
You gad-dam rite I am gad-dam GEEKED about this!! The folks who worked on movie robots are making real-life heroic robotics a reality. C’mon! How are you NOT losing your sh!t over this??!
Watch the vid piece.
