You Want This “ZVP” Movie. You NEED This Epic Action/Sci-Fi/Martial Arts Short Film In Your Life (Video)

On everything, this is EVERYTHING!

So alright, there is the trademark corniness and poorly-executed effects to get by… that is inherent in most ALL the dope old school martial arts flicks / westerns / grindhouse films (so do NOT trip)! But this is a most AWESOME way to waste a few minutes of your day.

I did. And do not regret it. At all.

(Neither will you, once you get to the surprise twist!)

Christopher Meloni Stars In SyFy’s Original “Happy!” Coming To Starting December 6th (Trailer)

Well, would you look at this… Elliot Christopher Meloni Stabler from “Law & Order: SVU” has got himself another gig. Looks like a cross between “Roger Rabit” and “Sin City” – like those two flicks had a fling and abandoned the baby. And it grew up with no home training, unhinged and macabre af! Probably helps the aura of this movie; the fact that Meloni also starred in the very graphic “Sin City” sequel.

But enough of the past. This trailer is for “Happy!” (based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name). The series follows Nick Sax (played by Meloni) – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hitman – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named Happy (Patton Oswalt).

Best. “Black Panther” Teaser. Ever!! (Trailer)

Okay, so Wakanda is not real. But styling its geography, geopolitics, and people makes the “Black Panther” movie real enough to reward watchers for agreeing to suspend disbelief. In other words, we don’t feel stupid for believing in vibranium-fueled fights… in ancient hidden cities laden with high-tech… spaceship-looking flying back-and-forth… bustling cityscapes where many random vehicles, streets and buildings get wrecked…

If the storytelling is good, we will be here for it all. And from what this trailer is showing us, the storytelling is gonna be good.

Action-packed but so ‘real’ and so good! So really good it’s surreal!

Enjoy the trailer thoroughly.

Witness The Horror Of Being ‘Different’ As FOX Puts “The New Mutants” Out Into The X-Men Universe (Trailer)

Wow. Just looking at the comments on this YouTube trailer. Looks like the folks out there are really here for this horror-core, trippy approach to “The New Mutants” movie. Well, bring ’em out, bring ’em out, FOX! Let’s see if you got something to scream about when this hits theaters next April. Prediction: If this goes over well, the X-Men Universe will never be the same.

Watch The Teaser For “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” (Trailer)

The Force is strong with Rey. We saw that in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. That’s why she had to go see Luke Skywalker at the end.

Oops. Hope that was not a spoiler for you… If so, hurry up and catch-up. We have a whole ‘nother Star Wars coming in December! Watch the trailer for “The Last Jedi” (the last chapter for the Jedi??)

This teaser has gotta have viewers thinking, “This is gonna be crazy. Good and crazy!” Watch and figure out your own feelings about it though (above).

Watch The Final Teaser For “Geostorm” (Trailer)

Sending prayers to Puerto Rico, Florida, Texas, and all in the wake of the hurricanes and tropical storms. Much has happened in the way of natural phenomena attacking humanity where it lives since the first “Geostorm” trailer we posted. Of course, this epic enviro-thriller will take things extremely over the top, but it does kind of trigger feelings regarding our own dealings with nature’s wrath.

Okay, on with the trailer. One last look (trailer) before it hits big silver screens.

“Keloid” Is Young, Black, And Super-Powered! Binge Season 1. Here. NOW! (Video)

Holy sheeeit! This “Keloid” series could very well cause Blerdgasms (Blerd = BLack nERD, and if you don’t know ‘gasms’ go Google or ask your parents or some sh!t) across the Interwebs! Have you peeped it out yet? A really compelling take on the coming of age, coming into one’s own, story of a youngster with abilities. Right in keeping with young hero sagas like Gotham already on Fox Television and The Gifted and Cloak & Dagger hitting the tube soon. And see, “Keloid” is already on YouTube, thanks to continued crowdfunding.

In episode 1, Keloid and his mom disagree about the emergence of his special abilities – telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation and the control of electricity. Meanwhile his girlfriend Aisha appears at his door unannounced. Is she right on time, or is it the worst time possible?

How Star Trek’s Transporter Could Actually Work In Real Life (Video)

Well, hello! You had us at ‘Star Trek.’ But a real-life transporter? Amazing! Theoretically at least. And to all the nay-sayers… Shaddup!! This is just a pre-first attempt at it. Just thinking aloud about transporter tech. Where do you think the inspiration for the old mobile flip phones (‘Kirk to Enterprise’) and the iPad technology (thank you for the report, Yeoman Lady-In-The-Tight-Miniskirt) came from? Yeah, STAR TREK!

Of course, the whole make-a-copy-and-destroy-the-original idea that drives this… not really feeling that.

“Homeboy” Shows Us That When One Door Opens… (Trailer)

The concept alone… DOPE! A different look at being in the trap… ensnared by a mental health challenge. Kudos to Bryan Christian for finding his way out of that trap with the help of loving fam and friends, and for this “Homeboy” film. Check out the trailer and the pitch at the end.

In Advance Of “Blade Runer 2049,” Watch This Prequel Short ‘2048: Nowhere To Run’ (Trailer)

Yep, this “Blade Runner” reboot is pushing in all the chips. Star-studded cast, as we saw in the trailer we posted earlier (here). And Dave Bautista is featured prominently in this clip. Truth be told, folks probably barely remember him as a pro ‘rassler. Doing pretty well in action/sci-fi, don’t you think?

Journey into the world 2049 with a replicant on the run. Dave Bautista is Sapper Morton. #BladeRunner2049, in theaters October 6.

Comic-Con 2017 Debuted An Extended Official Trailer For “The Gifted” (Video)

Ought to categorize this under MMM, Mutants Making Money! We know Logan and X-Men movies do well at box office cash registers, but will mutants help Fox TV sell cereal and soap? Oh, you can count on it.

As an (intended, or not) counterweight to its DC-based pre-Batman “Gotham” series, the network is now set to give us another hero genre series, but from the Marvel side this time, “The Gifted.” We posted a trailer on here earlier, but this was the one folks saw at this year’s San Diego Comic Con… where sci-fi and fantasy shows always go bigger and better with the teasers.

See The “Black Lightning” Series Join The Arrowverse And Learn ‘Where Heroes Are Born’ (Trailer)

Nice work done for San Diego Comic Con 2017 a while back. Sure they could have just delivered a trailer. By why not beef it up and give the people SO much more. Like an ‘Arrowverse’ lead-in (with all the DC TV heroes on The CW)… THEN hit ’em with the “Black Lightning” in there!
