Olivia – “Souljah Girl” feat. Mavado
This is a quality song from R&B singer Olivia I saw in my email inbox the other day, but I just didn’t get around to listening to it until now. This “Souljah Girl” track has a breezy island feel & you can’t go wrong with a Mavado feature. The only negative thing I found about this song for Olivia, who’s now signed to Wonda Music, is that Mavado’s unique vocal presence makes it seem like she’s the “featured” artist. I’m not mad at the song at all but for an R&B singer who was formerly signed to 50 Cent’s G-Unit, Olivia’s gonna need a pure R&B or Hip Hop flavored hit to keep her doubters who only know her from the “Love & Hip Hop” reality show quiet. I don’t know anything about her personality because I refuse to watch those black female based reality shows, but I often see many people on twitter sling hate her way. Sometimes those shows can be counterproductive for an artist, but if she consistently brings good music to the table then that’s all that matters to me.

Bling Dawg Interview x Jah Prince ‘Sunsplash Mix Show’
This week we talk with Bawse Dawg, aka Bling Dawg aka Ricky Rudie, about his career and ability to change with the times but keep the original ‘rrrrrrrrrrrr’ tone in his delivery. We discuss his distinct cadence and Jamaican rap style that is unique to him from the 1990’s. He explains the motivation behind the creation of his own label ‘Dawg House’, voicing new riddims with fellow artists yet also the good/bad about being a solo agent in the Dancehall industry. We also get a snippet of his new track with Peetah Morgan, and Bounty Killa was the first to voice on this new riddim! Next interview we’ll ask if he’s rolling with Team Celtics or the Miami Heat?
CeCile feat Agent Sasco – “Hey” (Video)
One of my most requested songs from the UK/Euro crews, this is a fun combo featuring Agent Sasco aka Assassin. Cecile has always been a fashionable female and this video shows more of her colorful/sexy style taken off the album “JAMAICANIZATION”.

Ajrenalin x Jah Prince Interview ‘Sunsplash Mix Show’
The Full Ajrenalin Interview with JahPrince :: “Sunsplash Mix Show”
We take the time and talk to Ajrenalin about his youthful insight on the Jamaican Dancehall genre, his career and working with other artists. I noticed his dedication to new styles and also uptempo flows. His team does support his future movements while he shows much respect to those who set the pace before him. He didn’t tell us exactly which football team he supports but its all good, we know who they be!
Konshens – Gyal A Bubble (Video)
Yes… okay… Jamaicans love to party.. (( SIMPLE )). So, this video from Konshens, shows his humorous side with all the side-eyes to the camera as the ladies are ‘doing their thang’. And yes with all the good Dancehall music coming out of Jamaica, any car-wash can literally turn into a session or ‘party’. Just watch the video and see KONSHENS da realest.

I-Octane & Chan Dizzy (Video) – ‘Til Kingdom Come’
Now the name of the track did turn some people off but the lyrics from I-Octane and Chan Dizzy are very wicked. We featured this song on the ‘Face Off Friday January 2012’ promo mix and with all the attention in the Dancehall community from these two artists, they wasted no time to shoot a video. The visuals of the storyline speak for themselves but listen closely to the 2nd Verse where the artists go back/forth, kinda ILL!
