How Would You Like To Drive A 2015 Lamborghini Huracán… Every Day? (Video)

We posted on the Huracán before. Slick-looking ride. Likely a steep price tag, but still made us want and wonder. If only…

Yes it’s awesomely powerful, but one of the things that impressed me most was just how much more livable it had become over its predecessor. But would you really want to drive it every day?

He’s kidding right? Who wouldn’t want that problem? Well, reviewer Colum Wood does make a few points above that speak to sight lines and safety in dealing with traffic on the day-to-day commute. But figuring what I would be doing & earning for a living (check that… how I’m living… LARGE), if I could afford to floss and fuel-up a Lambo daily… Yeah, lemme try this problem out. Vrrrroooomm!

Talib Kweli And Bill Maher Discuss #BlackLivesMatter Protesters Interrupting Bernie Sanders’ Presidential Campaign Speech (Video)

Bill Maher: Why Bernie Sanders? …If you’re gonna interrupt somebody… This guy had a hundred percent approval rating from the NAACP.
Talib Kweli: NAACP liked Donald Sterling, too.

And folks, that’s how we dig into a real conversation! Watch the video clip above and gain some perspective.

A while back, #BlackLivesMatter shut down a speech appearance by 2016 Presidential hopeful and leading American Progressive Bernie Sanders. Many disagreed with the women who took the mic. But EVERYONE paid attention, talked about it, talked about #BlackLivesMatter from many angles. Whether you ultimately agree or disagree with the tactic, Kweli does make a couple of solid points. The first, the duty of activist-protesters is to disrupt and gain the platform (which #BlackLivesMatter did LITERALLY). The second, NO candidate should take the Black vote for granted in 2016.

Very interesting. Do you agree with Kweli? Discuss…

Dr. Umar Johnson Gets Detailed on ‘The Breakfast Club’ About Issues Affecting the Black Community (Video)

Although I don’t speak with Dr. Umar Johnson on a regular basis I still consider him a friend. I went to school with Umar Johnson before he became “Dr. Umar” & it wasn’t uncommon for us to have many conversations years ago about what’s going on within the black community. Not only are we both from North Philly, but we have both served as the President of our school’s Black Student Union at different times. We’ve organized & traveled to the historic Million Man March in D.C. with a large group of brothers as well has having mentored young students through an organization called ‘Positive Images’ back in Pennsylvania for a few years.  He was always an avid debater on a variety of issues & always held true to his convictions.  Rarely have I’ve seen him back down from a heated debate even if it centered on something as simple as hip hop music or sports during lunch in the cafeteria.  One thing that I can co-sign is that Umar has always been consistent in who he was & in his beliefs.

So of course it’s difficult for me to believe any of his recent detractors who try to say he’s anything less than authentic. Dr. Umar Johnson didn’t just pop up overnight because he’s been doing this for as long than I’ve known him.  I’m excited yet not surprised to see him finally breaking through with his greater message to better the situation for African-Americans & others around the world through a Pan-Africanist viewpoint. Although he continues to travel around the globe delivering his message & through a variety of grassroots lectures that most people have posted on youtube, I feel proud & happy to finally see him start to reach the audiences who best need to hear his message. It was always his life work to do what he’s doing at this very moment. Check the interview with Dr. Umar Johnson with “The Breakfast Club” at Power 105 in New York above & get some food for thought.

What Victoria’s Secret Swimsuits Look Like On Non-Models (Video)

Ah, now here’s a different look at Eye Candy: Victoria’s Secret swimsuits are usually rocked by professional models, or by women that fit that mold. Sure, I’m all for traditional; but how about we go for something non-traditional for a change. I’m sure someone might’ve stumbled across Honeyz posted on here and mumbled some jibber-jabber… saying the way we ogle women objectifies women, even indirectly puts down some that don’t meet the standard. I’m sorry. Put that on me.

I’m sorry that I have not made clear that I OGLE ALL KINDS OF WOMEN! Oh yeah, varying hues and cultures. Of course, on the shapes and sizes… I LIKE ‘EM THICK! Should not be a problem there, though, since Vicky Secret usually models using ‘skinny Pennies’ and so-called ‘perfect’ women. Fact is, you’ll RARELY, if ever, catch a model of that type on here. We are, therefore, non-traditional in that sense.

Turn the page to this chapter in the book of sexy. Look at the video I came across recently. Non-professionals wearing the hell out of some sexy pieces. They did it as an esteem project; documenting their perspectives on what the pros have to go through to deliver ‘perfect’ pics and their reactions to seeing their shoot photos next to the pros. That is insightful and uplifting, sure.

But I’m posting it to OGLE. Just as I do for any other Eye Candy (equal opportunity *wink*). I post Honeyz to share what makes me ‘tingle’… and I am betting you will agree every time… including this time. Enjoy!

(Now, what this clip also needs someone at key points in there saying “You look FINE!” Betcha somebody was trying to get at every one of these women later that evening. Yep. Bet that!)

Opinion: Andrew P. Napolitano Asks “What if…?” (Video)

Full disclosure: This message is offered from a Conservative on a Republican-leaning network that caters to Conservative audience. Heck, even the tube poster advertised the Tea Party website. But don’t let that stop you from watching, even considering thoughtfully, what is being said. Just use your big adult brain. Realize that everyone has a “slant” – that all commentators color their analyses in some way.

As it applies here, look past the coy shots at the Obama Administration and such, and ask yourself the ‘What If’ questions that Andrew P. Napolitano poses. Might make you think…differently. And that’s okay. Just look for your own angle to examine things; find your own truth, as an independent thinker.

Very interesting, especially given the timeframe of this broadcast (about four years ago) and today’s realities.

We are all aware of the tragedy of the 2010 Earthquake that hit Haiti and ravaged the country.  The relief funds started to pop up everywhere  and one of the main organizations waiving the flag was the Red Cross.  The organization raised around $500 Million dollars to help rebuild Haiti.  A recent NPR report though has shown that the Red Cross has only built 6 new permanent homes with all of that money.  So this has people asking where did the money go?  Yvette Carnell of BreakingBrown.com along with Ben Dixon speak about what happened and the controversy surrounding this.  Here is a link to the full NPR Report that details more on this headline.

Dr. Boyce Watkins speaks on Jay-Z issues with Spotify & YouTube (Video)

There has been a lot of talk recently about music streaming and artists getting what they deserve regarding royalties.  One of the main discussions has been over Jay-Z and his new company Tidal that is marketed as a platform created by the artists for the artists.  There has been some push back from people stating that Tidal is a corporation out here to get rich just like all of the others.  When it comes to Jay-Z recently he has implied that people have no problem supporting the Bill Gates and Steve Jobs but not supporting him because he is black.  Dr. Boyce Watkins speaks on this and questions some of the things Jay-Z speaks on while opening up the discussion on true Black independence.

“Jay-Z can state he has 99 problems but the struggles of the Black Community is not one”Dr Boyce Watkins

The ‘Quiet White Riots’ on the ‘Zo What Morning Show’ (Video)

Mass destruction, cars being flipped over, store fronts having their windows smashed from rocks being thrown.  Couches being burned with street lights being torn down and people brawling in the middle of the street.  This by definition would be described as Thug action, menace behavior destructive to American culture.  Well all of these things have happened after Kentucky college basketball team lost, a pumpkin festival in California, and any major city after a sports team wins a championship.  The funny thing is the media will describe this as mischievious behavior kids being kids.  While the actions that have taken place in Baltimore uprising and previously in Ferguson the same American citizens are labeled as Thugs, Criminals with destructive behavior.  One big difference the first group is white and the second black which makes all the difference dealing with Media.  Zo Williams along with guest Corey Holcomb and Dr Mark Ghoulston break this down in latest Zo What Morning Show!

Swedish Cops Actions Reflect A Model For Professional Restraint (Video)

Proud American. Proud Alabamian. Native of Tuskegee. If you got jokes, go on and let them fly. Okay, while they’re yammering, please watch the above video and let me speak on this.

This clip exemplifies what it means to be a PEACE officer; not an officer with a piece. Like everyone else contributing to this visual going viral, what I applaud is the COURAGE these PROFESSIONALS exhibited; putting themselves IN DANGER when (as visitors) they could have remained bystanders… AND how they CHOSE to employ TRAINING, JUDGEMENT, and CARE… to PROTECT and SERVE everyone on the train (including the two fighting).

Now, I have not mentioned nationality yet. The above emphasized traits are those we hope peace officers worldwide would universally apply. Hopefully, police exhibit such traits regularly in Sweden. I don’t know. Hopefully, their citizenry appreciates law enforcement behavior norms like those in the clip as we would. That said, I have no beef with police; yet I still find myself scared at times that they may ‘find’ beef with me or my folks. Hopefully, the model behavior shown above fuels our desire to find, and make viral, images of our TRAINED PROFESSIONALS using JUDGEMENT and CARE as they PROTECT and SERVE us. And if those clips are too rare to be found and made to go viral… Hopefully, we will DISCOVER what it will take to make it so us witnessing good cop behavior is not so rare.

Look. I want responsible caring police professionals ready to serve in my community. Yes, I do. Admittedly, I am not sure that is the case in a lot of cases right now; but I really want it to be. Yes, I do. I believe this is possible. Do you?

Let’s discuss. Tweet me or leave a comment.

Cam’ron “Keeps It 100” On The Topic Of Snitching On ‘The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore’ (Video)

Larry Wilmore with a good point above: How can the cops expect us to ‘snitch’ on their neighbors; yet they won’t tell the truth on their peers doing dirt and hiding behind the badge. Wilmore has been doing a great job with topic AND guest selection. Interesting perspectives on snitching; and more interesting, the poster child for the ‘No Snitching’ movement – Killa Cam – is there to weigh in. Will there be weak tea passed across the table for this “Keep It 100” segment of The Nightly Show?

Damon Dash Shares How He fights Custody Battle Without Lawyer (Video)

In interviews Damon Dash has been making the headlines for the topics he discusses.  Some agree some don’t but most of the Blogs and Gossip sites love to use his words to stir traffic not really investigating his true talking points.  Well Dr. Boyce Watkins has reached out to Dame Dash allowing him to discuss issues on his platform.  This is not a pair of people you would expect to partner up but I am happy to see it.  In this video Damon Dash explains how he is fighting for custody of his daughters without a lawyer.  He gives some detailed facts on what fathers can and must do to see their children in custody battles.  He is upfront with the fact that the courts will frustrate you but you must have patience and remember that your child is the ultimate prize.  I am not saying that Damon Dash is who you should pattern your legal battles after but if you took the time to watch interviews with him yelling at someone how about watching a video where he is imploring men to fight to see their children legally!

DJ Scratch: “We Have Accepted Biting, And Biting Was Not Allowed In Hip-Hop” (Video)

The truth hurts. So get ready for some pain, as DJ Scratch (turntable controller for EPMD back in the day) delivers truth and insight into the ‘why’ behind Hip-Hop’s homogeneity nowadays. The beats sound the same. Truth. The rhymes? No need to even say it. But considering DJ Scratch’s Golden Era pedigree, it is amazing that he is able to break it down for us in the video above without losing his cool or shedding a tear about our music’s loss of authenticity.

(Feel it when Scratch says he did not even want to copy any of DJ Jazzy Jeff’s techniques and standards back in the day… They were HIS… and the rule for all things Hip-Hop was: No biting allowed!)

Why The ‘Vagina Prize’ Is A Myth (Video)

I agree with her 100%. Tonya TKO hits us with truth. Some of you… well, this will get you into your feelings. You have been warned. But don’t skip this. Think of this like the gym, or good therapy. Get in there. It’s necessary, and you’ll be better for it.

Nothing like knowledge and realness from a down sista. Watch.

The conundrum is: The more he does, the more endearing he becomes, and the more desired we feel, and we feel he “worked so hard” to “win” us that he may be “worthy” of a little “reward” so we give him a bit of affection (which he so desperately seemed to crave)… and we feel so gracious and magnanimous that we bestowed a bit of our glory on him… We may continue to make him “work” until we feel he’s “earned” it… and then we bestow our magic vagina on him… and we feel that YESSS if he was willing to do so MUCH before – he will do So MUCH MORE Now that the magic punnany has come into play. But instead, the fool who was so foolish for our foolery is GHOST! But Why?? we ask ourselves – we made him “WORK?” This can’t possibly be a ‘hit & run.’ Now you’re chasing Him, and you weren’t even attracted to him.

What went wrong?

Click play and find out. This is for EVERYBODY! We’ve got to do better by each other in life and love.
