Still listening to that “Victory Lap” from Nipsey Hussle in 2020? Of course you are… But how do you feel about that work he and CeeLo Green put in on that Jake One beat for “Loaded Bases” though?
(No worries if you haven’t really dug into that plate yet. I keep “Racks In The Middle” and the title track on loop-to-loop myself. Might have to add this one to the rotation. Nip’s last one was a great one #Blessings #RIPNIP
There aren’t many Hip-Hop projects that are released these days where it’s impossible to skip a track.
Two years ago today, Nipsey Hussle did just that when he dropped his classic debut album titled “Victory Lap.” The project debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, with 53,000 units sold.
On January 8, 2020, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
“Victory Lap” struck a chord from hood to hood with songs like “Rap N!ggas,” “Last Time That I Checc’d,” “Dedication,” “Double Up” and “Real Big.”
Neighborhood Nip definitely delivered with this one. Rest in Peace Neighborhood Nip. The Marathon Continues.
