Cayoz Da Emcee x Mic Handz – “Not Hiding” (Prod. By Sojourn)
Mic Handz got the pedigree… We seen posts on here from Rockness Monsta AND Sean Price, individually, with Handz credited… talk about bringing forth Heltah Skeltah, right? But let’s see what dude do when collabing with Cayoz Da Emcee (born in Philly, raised in Oceanside, California; one-half of Still Fresh & member of The Mighty Animal Gang) on this Sojourn-produced “Not Hiding.”

Sav Killz – “Engulfed In The Swarm” feat. Killah Priest x Inspectah Deck x Cappadonna (Prod. By Bronze Nazareth)
Sav Killz is a savage on the mic. Guaranteed Killz when he is alone. But imagine if Killah Priest, Inspectah Deck, and Cappadonna get “Engulfed Tn The Swarm” with him. Bronze Nazareth on the beat alone… but with all these hungry emcees… time for beast emcees to EAT!

Whispers – “Sleep Deprivation” (Video)
Later into the night, when “Sleep Deprivation” takes over, Whispers takes down a dope instrumental lethal lyricism. Mic murder. Weapon of choice: Hard BARZ!
Never sleep on Whis is his message in this visual freestyle entitled Sleep Deprivation. Whispers more than delivers with killer bars over Mobb Deep’s Thug Muzik instrumental.

Common – “Hercules” feat. Swizz Beatz (Video)
YEAH!
“Let Love” win the day… Love for the people and the ‘hood… and sticking up for the bro working the corner store in the ‘hood. Common stepped up as a hero with the power of “Hercules” (with Swizz amping him on the soundtrack to this mini-movie). Empowering the sista and the brotha to help stop the othas from heisting and getting away with it.
A scene reminiscent of the Prince Akeem and Semmi takedown of Samuel Jackson’s character trying to rob McDowell’s in “Coming To America” (updated, just as cool though)!

The Story Behind Little Brother’s Debut Album, “The Listening” (Documentary)
When you hear them together, it sounds right…
This is how dope documentaries get done! Okay, so at 11 minutes it’s more like a mini-doc… but just right. Frame the story as a ‘making of’ but drop all kinds of gems and jewels of history (group and Hip-Hop) along the way.
Started in a college dorm room by a group of North Carolina Central students in 2001, the Justus League collective and offshoot trio Little Brother defined the sound of Durham Hip-Hop for years to come, constructing a style altogether distinct from everything to the north and south. This level of innovation turned heads with some of Hip-Hop’s biggest names, and the members of Little Brother (9th Wonder, Big Pooh and Phonte) have gone on to work with superstars like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Questlove, who appears in the documentary.

Mad Squablz – “Remember My Name” (Video)
They are gonna know his name if Pops got anything to do with it. Day 3 on them streets with NO let up on the promo in sight. And Mad Squablz is most DEFINITELY worth it. His skills alone will ensure, that once you know it, he will not have to even ask you to “Remember My Name” (believe that)!

4-IZE – “4-IZE Meets J Black†(Prod. By J Black) [Video]
Daaaamn them shiz iz DOPE!
The ‘Snoop Dogg Stunt Double’ finally linked up with producer J Black and gives a performance on a track… played live right there as 4-IZE rips to it. Music-making don’t get much better than that!
I’d been following this dude for a little over a year now because I think he’s dope as f*ck. So when he moved to Atlanta from Virginia and was recommended by multiple sources to connect with me, I was honored beyond measure when he reached out to a Virgo. This video is the culmination of two passionately creative mofos having the opportunity to work with each other. Please enjoy!!!

Lyric Jones – “Fettuccine” (Prod. By Giallo Point) [Video]
…save for f*ck sh!t for the latrines!
So HOT and spitting fire like that. It just beez like that when you got a emcee like this. I mean… she is Lyric Jones, and she do got BARZ! So, chocolaty, smooth-moving and leggy, a quick look and you might mistake her for a fashion plate. Actually, she is. But the mistake would be thinking that that is all that she is. Look at the plate again – full of “Fettuccine” al dente #Perfecto
Fettuccine Alfredo dishes are known for being heavy and leaving you full. It’s a very dense dish. That’s how I’m coming at cats with these bars on this…HEAVY!

That “Zero F*cks” remix though! New cool Kool Keith album out now, entirely produced by Psycho Les. Respek on both their names for holding it down in the Hip-Hop game for DECADES. Ultramagnetic MCs repped and Beatnuts repped, respectively and with the utmost RESPECT!

Dapper Dan Speaks On Parallels Between His Life And Nipsey Hussle’s (Video)
Wow. If anyone can speak on being in the fashion game AND in these streets… it’s this man… THE man. Some stuff he says might make you feel a way, but Dapper Dan has earned the right, and time, to say it.
