She was back on the show this past weekend (link to the interview audio, via earlier post, below). Now, I’ve come across her in person, too, but when I did, she was so low-key it was like a don’t-bother-me-now-son vibe. Intimidating in a way. But I gotta push past all that. Dope music like this helps; giving me courage (wink).

Popa Wu, the longtime Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and spiritual mentor to the group, has died, a representative for the Wu-Tang Clan confirmed to Rolling Stone. While no cause of death was given, according to The Source, Popa Wu — who was also known as Freedum Allah — died at his home in Brooklyn. He was 63.
