Sarah Connor Hunting Terminators? An ‘Aging Arnold’ Terminator? “Terminator 6” Teases A ‘Dark Fate’ (Trailer)
Don’t know how they will pull this off. Not even sure that that will matter. My final evaluation was ‘done’ when I saw James Cameron at the helm again… AND the director of “Deadpool” on board! Yeah, it’s about to be some ridiculous popcorn munching in theaters. Plus, the witticisms will go way past “hasta la vista, baby.” Bet both pockets and your neighbor’s on that.
Sarah Connor came through RAW with the big gun in this, didn’t she? Don’t know if they even need ‘Old Man’ Terminator (WTF is that gonna be about though?), but he’s in there.
Shout out to The Ghost Rider from Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Gabriel Luna. Word!

Nas Speaks On Wu-Tang Clan From The ‘Hidden Chambers’ (Video)
‘Hidden Chambers’ is a series of bonus scenes from the Mass Appeal x Showtime four-part Wu-Tang Clan docu-series, “Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men.” Nas reflects on the brethren he came to know back in the day.
Project kids. We felt it, we smelled it off each other.

Hip-Hop Drama Film “Beats” Debuts On Netflix This June (Trailer)
So, are we taking the ‘Hustle & Flow’ to Chicago? Ha!
Looks like some craziness, in a good way. The “Beats” and rhymes and life story of this young producer trying to make it in The Chi… compelling. At least that is what the trailer is teasing…
Rise above the noise. Watch the new trailer for BEATS starring Anthony Anderson, Uzo Aduba, Emayatzy Corinealdi and directed by Chris Robinson. On Netflix June 19th.
Technology: The Future Is Automated… But Will There Be A Place For Humans In It? (Documentary)
That headline. That is as much the question as ‘To be or not to be?’ Robots ARE replacing jobs. FACT! But what about yours? Every job is pretty much at risk according to AJ+.
Robots are already changing jobs as an endless array of robots enter our everyday lives. From trucking to service work to high-end jobs like doctors and lawyers, this documentary explores how robotics and artificial intelligence are changing the workplace.
AJ+’s documentary series on automation explores how advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, machine learning and automated vehicles will affect jobs, cities and inequality. From trucking to radiology, new technology is already changing white collar and blue collar occupations, reshaping cities and concentrating wealth in the hands of the few. Robots are taking over the world as companies like Tesla, Amazon, Uber and Google are using robots to automate.

Peter Parker Needs A Vacation, But The World Needs Spiderman (Trailer)
Or should that read that the WORLDS need Spiderman? Hmmm. Answer the phone, Peter.
Yep. The new “Spiderman: Far From Home” MCU movie is gonna be dope! Gotta watch these things in order, especially with the ‘growing up’ Spidey had to do to make it through “Avengers: Infinity Wars” and “Avengers: End Game” (because SPACE, TIME, and INTERDIMENSIONAL travel… talk about ‘far from home’ right?).
Oh, and don’t watch this if you haven’t seen “End Game” yet #SpoilerAlert
How Does Will Smith Feel About That “Bel-Air” Trailer? (Video)
Remember that Morgan Cooper trailer he put out for his idea “Bel-Air” (see the post on the trailer here). Why not ask Will? Matter of fact, why not have Will AND Morgan speak about it?
Yeah.

‘Blade’ Paved The Way For All The MCU Blockbusters That Would Follow (Video)
Not everyone, but many folks ignore or outright diss the ‘Blade’ contribution to what Marvel has offered the movie world.
(Looking at you, too, ‘Deadpool’… ‘Blade: Trinity’ was my fave of the series, but you take shots at it. Hannibal King foreverrr!)
Check out this discussion clip giving the props that Marvel’s first Black hero [before all the #WakandaForever stuff] movie deserves.
And yes, ‘Black Panther’ is a far better movie than anything in the ‘Blade’ franchise. Not the point though. Just saying it before the haters do.

“Sonic The Hedgehog” Goes From Gaming Monitors To Movie Theaters (Vibe)
Two things you know are gonna be good in this: (1) the “Sonic The Hedgehog” CGI and (2) Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik!
“Sonic The Hedgehog” is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

“21 Bridges” Starring Chadwick Boseman Comes To Theaters July 12th (Trailer)
Chadwick Boseman took some time away from MCU to play NYPD for a little while. But he’s still about that action!

As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. Time Travel Flick “See You Yesterday” Comes To Netflix (Trailer)
So this is how Spike Lee does sci-fi. Compelling concept: Time travel flicks often involve the main character(s) going back in time to right a wrong… but a police killing… that’s gonna hit home for us. Yep, Netflix’s latest Spike Lee joint might be its latest hit!
High school best friends and science prodigies C.J. and Sebastian spend every spare minute working on their latest homemade invention: backpacks that enable time travel. But when C.J.’s older brother Calvin dies after an encounter with police officers, the young duo decide to put their unfinished tech to use in a desperate bid to save Calvin. From director Stefon Bristol and producer Spike Lee comes “See You Yesterday,” a sci-fi adventure grounded in familial love, cultural divides, and the universal urge to change the wrongs of the past.

Will Smith Plays A Dual Role In “Gemini Man,” Coming To Theaters This Fall (Trailer)
So kind of like that movie “Looper”… Will Smith vs. younger Will Smith in this sci-fi action drama.
Watch the new trailer from visionary director Ang Lee, starring Will Smith. “Gemini Man” is in theatres October 11th, 2019.
– Paramount Pictures
Ang Lee? “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” Ang Lee? Well, the production quality should be top-notch. Just hoping the storytelling doesn’t get too ‘lofty’ (which was the knock on his version of “Hulk”). Looks like some good watching given the trailer.
Latest Look: ‘Fast & Furious’ Presents “Hobbs & Shaw” (Trailer)
The cars, the speed, the guns, the gritty witty banter… sure. Throw all that in there. But The Rock going back home, to round up the homies, to lead a Haka and an epic old school beat-the-hell-outta-everybody gang-on-gang fight???? &%$! YEAH!!!
Man, that “Hobbs & Shaw” movie is gonna take the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise in a whole other outrageous, hilarious, who-in-the-hell-left-the-gate-open direction. Lots of buttered popcorn and sodas will be sold when this hits screens!
Idris’ character looks like he is giving them hell. Haaaa!
Here’s A Suggestion On The Order To Watch All The MCU Movies… Just Before “Endgame” Hits Theaters (Video)
Interesting. I just got my brother BoneBreaker Jones to watch that first “Avengers” MCU movie. I urged him to watch the movies in order as they came out. But Looper suggests a different order. Good points, too. Not mad at them for this.

Disney’s “The Lion King” Opens In Theaters July 19, 2019 (Trailer)
Don’t worry “Lion King” faithful. Jon Favreau knows that y’all shed real tears of sorrow and joy at the animated epic. He will not let you down with the remake. Look at the cast. Look at the high-quality CGI. Hear the music and dialogue. Check out the A-List casting.
Your memories will be honored and celebrated. This trailer promises that!
Action Flick “Anna” Set To Kick A** In Theaters This June (Trailer)
“Anna” is gonna kill it (because she’s an assassin, get it?). Off topic but sort of not… That restaurant fight scene in the trailer feels like a scene that should be in a Marvel ‘Black Widow’ movie (if they ever get it together and make one).

“Joker” Comes To Theaters This Fall (Trailer)
Whoa, Zazie Beetz (with your fine self)… you are in the MARVEL Universe… why the jump to a DC origin story? Actually, though, this looks pretty dope. Good casting and compelling storytelling; let the trailer tell it.
There will be immediate comparisons to Heath Ledger’s (RIP) “Joker” to be certain.
Famous Last Words: Let’s Hang Out At “Ma’s” (Trailer)
Maaannn, these kids get everything they want and a lot of what they don’t. Kids will be kids… who will end up dead… messing with Ma… and NOT following her rules!
Everybody’s welcome at Ma’s. But good luck getting home safe.
Oscar® winner Octavia Spencer stars as Sue Ann, a loner who keeps to herself in her quiet Ohio town. One day, she is asked by Maggie, a new teenager in town (Diana Silvers, Glass), to buy some booze for her and her friends, and Sue Ann sees the chance to make some unsuspecting, if younger, friends of her own.

Ma also stars Juliette Lewis (August: Osage County) as Maggie’s mom, Luke Evans (Beauty And The Beast) as a local dad, Missi Pyle (Gone Girl) as his girlfriend, and McKaley Miller (TV’s Hart Of Dixie), Corey Fogelmanis (TV’s Girl Meets World), Gianni Paolo (TV’s Power) and Dante Brown (Lethal Weapon TV series) as Maggie’s friends.

Action Anti-Hero Flick “El Chicano” Comes To Theaters May 3rd (Trailer)
Dope! This is like the way Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. retold the Ghost Rider character’s story… crossed with some elements of ‘The Equalizer’ and Marvel’s The Punisher. Make way for the Latino Frank Castle aka The Ghetto Grim Reaper aka El Chicano!
When L.A.P.D.
