Got this full online EP release from RoGizz dropped into my inbox. Picked it up and was glad I did. The Miami (by way of Chicago) emcee has put together a straight-forward compelling project. Good for sit-down Hip-Hop listening.

While I came across several blips in scouring the ‘Net for info on RoGizz, the community conscious emcee has not leaked much in the way of “About Me” data beyond where he is from. Kind of in keeping with a ‘minimalist theme’ (reference to his RoGizz.com site design). Presence on Facebook and @RoGizz (on Twitter)… but his YouTube channel about gave the last tidbit I found to share:

Homeboy Sandman – “Peace & Love” (Video)

Director Chris Antonelli delivers another creative video for Homeboy Sandman – for “Peace & Love.” Creative is what we’ve come to expect from a Sandman video (kind of an understatement). “Peace & Love” is off the “Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent” EP. The eight-track project is produced in-full by EL RTNC (formerly known as Rthentic), and as one would expect, it pays tribute to Hip-Hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc.
