Technology/Product: Amazing Omni-Capable Liddiard Wheels (Video)

William Liddiard – just using his noodle (e.g. brain), available materials and time to work on them – has developed his own working omni-capable wheels (e.g. wheels that can move a vehicle in all directions, and turn on the spot). Liddiard Wheels are durable and can work in all weather and road conditions. They could be installed on anything that works using regular tires. Even these are proof-of-concept prototypes they are good enough to show that they work (like in the clip above). Remember this is what William did in his spare time, with spare materials. Imagine what a dedicated manufacturer could do.
Thing is, he actually wants to license or partner with someone or some such manufacturing entity to bring Liddiard Wheels to market.

Going For Gold: While The Golden State Warriors Were Winning, So Was E-40 (Video)

Now that the Golden State Warriors have turned things around and made the series a fight – the Western Finals now being tied 3-3 when the team was facing elimination (down 3-1) days ago, can we talk about the fighting spirit of another Yay Area hero? Anybody hear how Indie rap legend E-40 just got certified Gold again for his “Choices” joint? Yessir, RIAA certified GOLD – 500,000 units sold!
Back in 2014, the single was out and pushing indie numbers. Fawty was working his music, per usual, and eating off his work. But E-40 was actually well into his forties by then, and there was limited expectation of commercial success. Just putting out the work and seeing some movement would be considered a ‘win’ to most in his position. But Fonzy stayed on the grind, and kept working ground, and kept eyes and ears out for rain… and in 2015, a partnership involving an Apple insider and some moves with the NBA Championship-bound Warriors, gave E-40’s music new life.
Farmer Fawty Water still kept tending the crop though. Then, just recently, came the harvest!
“Man I was looking at the numbers and I’m like ‘I think I’m close to gold!’ So my distributor sent a note to the RIAA and they did their accounting and everything and analyzed it and that shit was certified, bruh! Matter fact, “Tell Me When to Go†just went gold two months ago. And “U and Dat Booty†went platinum the same day that “Tell Me When to Go†went gold. That’s sick huh?”

Weed soda, chronic cookies and chocolates. Ah yes, sounds like some mighty tasty medicines those Canadians are getting a good dose of up there. New Prime Minister Justin Trudeau bringing in a new cool, a breath of fresh… well hazy… air to the country’s marijuana legalization conversation. See VICE’s Damian Abraham get up there and get into the mix; taking his lumps and the ‘medicine’ to get the story on Canada’s weed dispensaries and candy shops.
Toronto is currently in a gray area in terms of its marijuana dispensary boom. Since Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was elected in 2015, promising to legalize weed, entrepreneurs have been illegally opening up shop all over the city. Although there’s no guarantee that Trudeau’s plan for legal marijuana will include storefront businesses, these operations are opening almost daily. While the shops specialize in selling weed for medical marijuana patients — more and more customers are coming through the doors of their local dispensary looking for marijuana edibles, which only a select number of federally regulated manufacturers are licensed to produce.

Africa’s Biggest Mall Opens In South Africa (Video)

Just a mall opening. That’s all. The continent’s biggest mall. Sure, but big or small, a mall’s a mall… Oh wait, the continent is Africa; which is big. And this Mall Of Africa grand opening was HUGE!
By 1:30pm, 70,000 people had walked into Mall of Africa. [Morné] Wilken said many customers were taking advantage of opening sales by large stores such as clothing retailers H&M and Cotton On and electronics group Dion Wired. Starbucks had also opened its second branch in the country and was “trading extremely well.”
“We are really excited about what this mall can do. It is located in an extremely good position. Shopping mall culture is very much entrenched in South Africans. In Gauteng, we hang out at malls. Families go to malls. It’s what we do. We feel we have built a centre which has a strong choice of tenants, more space and more facilities than any other shopping centre in SA,” said Mr. Wilken.

Hopsin took it too far. It’s gonna take NWA vs. Ice Cube cool-down time for Funk Volume head honcho Dame Ritter and Hop to to find a new bridge to cross. Hop dropped this “Ill Mind Of Hopsin 8” video and burned this bridge AND both toll booths the f#ck down. ‘Shots fired’ is such an understatement! Could a song with such an understated title come with this much heat?? YES! In the tradition of prior “Ill Mind Of Hopsin” releases (or anything Hop drops), this 8th one goes HARD to the BODY!
