Alternative
Dec 99th – “Seaside Panic Room”
Trust God, tie your camel.
There’s boom and bap in there, but on some different ish. Nice. Very nice. Unique beat and rhyme apporach for Dec 99th (Yasiin Bey and Ferrari Sheppard) on “Seaside Panic Room.†Click play and keep your finger ready to click again. The stream goes quick; like 2 minutes or so.
Ta-ku x Wafia – “Love Somebody”
Oh yeah. We effs with Ta-ku something heavy already over here. But this “Love Somebody” is doing nothing but locking us into long-term fandom. Dope music and vocalization. Great choice to lure the world over to copping the EP “(m)edian” out now.
Alternative: Phantogram – “Run Run Blood”
Off the album due out October 7, 2016 (simply entitled “Three” with the pre-order linked below), this is Phantogram with “Run Run Blood.”
Nas x Erykah Badu – “This Bitter Land”
Stirring. “This Bitter Land” is a bit o’ provocation from the soundtrack for “The Land” (as in CleveLAND), the forthcoming coming-of-age skater movie being produced by Nas and Machine Gun Kelly. The former teams up with Erykah Badu on this track you gotta take at least two listens to.

Alternative: Francis And The Lights – “Friends” feat. Bon Iver x Kanye West (Video)
My favorite song this year https://t.co/R8xWKjTcEG
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) July 16, 2016
Favorite, huh? No blame from over here, Ye, though there’s likely a bit of bias. Ha! Dope song and visuals indeed though. This visual is for “Friends” by Francis And The Lights (featuring Bon Iver & Kanye West).

I’m talking in my sleep

I Self Devine x Muja Messiah – “Midnight On Jupiter” feat. Lady Midnight (Video)
I Self Devine & Muja Messiah with a way out video that actually does justice to the alt Hip-Hop feel of their single off the “9th House” project. This is the vid for “Midnight On Jupiter” (featuring Lady Midnight). This is how they’re doing it out in Minneapolis-St. Paul (MN, USA). Cool cool.
Hezekiah – “Dreams Don’t Chase Themselves” (Album Release Video)
Footage captured at the “Dreams Don’t Chase Themselves” album release party at Johnny Brendas (Philadelphia, PA, USA) last year. It’s a short clip, but the energy conveyed feels like it was a good time with great music. Got the album link below.
This album was so relaxing, and I was in a very, very good space to be expressive.
– Hezekiah
R&B: Maxwell – “Lake By The Ocean” (Prod. By Musze x Hod David) [Video]
Some dudes are held above the hate; especially the ones whose music helps you get closer to your mate. That’s Maxwell. Bonus: A Maxwell video means there is going to be a smoking hot Honey featured front and center. Enjoy!
Bilal - “Free” (TBGRemix)
I already know nothing comes in this entire world without a sacrifice.
Bilal’s words to his original song. Tall Black Guy’s retweaked beat. It’s a funky-jazzy-breezy combination you will get your bob and nod on to. Play and set to repeat. Get your own copy via FREE download, too.

Er… Our ‘Nooner’ selection is some sho-nuff spicy Ear Candy, “twoAM” – a refixxx of “Come And See Me” by PARTYNEXTDOOR. Listen out for the change-up at the end; and envision it all with your mind’s eye (ah, there’s your ‘Eye Candy’ at Noontime).
Coldplay – “Up&Up” (Video)
Let it be known (again) that this site is a fan HQ for Coldplay. And if you hate on them, pity on you fool. Not mad, just feel sorry for you. The music is so dope, and so are the visuals. Like this “Up&Up” here. “A Head Full Of Dreams” is an album full of incredible music. Check it out via link to the earlier post below… after you watch the video above.
Torii Wolf – “1st†(Prod. By DJ Premier) [Video]
Remember that hot Torii Wolf jawn “1st” (produced by DJ Premier) we posted on the other day? You should, or at least go back a freshen up. Good music. And now there’s a visual accompaniment for it. Dope.
Maxwell – “Lake By the Ocean” (Live) [Video]
Neo-soul artist Maxwell, back after a loooong break, is doing the damn thang; especially here performing live on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Performs the lead single from his forthcoming album “blackSUMMERS’night” (due out July 1, 2016) entitled “Lake By The Ocean.”
Alternative/Soul: Sy Ari Da Kid – “No Place Like Home” (Video)
Sy Ari Da Kid‘s latest video release for his song, “No Place Like Home,” off his latest project “B4 The Heartbreak.” His next project, entitled “2 Soon,” is due out soon… like June 2016 soon. Produced by INDEEDFACE, Illa Jones, TEAUXNY and Sy Ari.
Alternative/R&B: Yuna – “Lanes”
You know Yuna by now; the girl that sings like her voice is coming at you out of a cloud slowly drifting overhead. That’s a heavenly voice. Latest loveliness falling gently from the cumulus is “Lanes” (off the “Chapters” project due out May 20, 2016).
