YouTube Movies Now Showing “Ip Man: The Final Fight” (Full Movie)

Yooooo! When did YouTube start doing this? I mean, you can find bootleg tubes to watch full-length flicks… even catch some on YouTube (before someone flags ’em for copyright violation and they come down)… but this is one of several FULL MOVIES that just popped up in my suggested-to-watch yesterday (though the upload is dated for last year) like WHOA! And it looks legit.

Don’t know how they will pull this off. Not even sure that that will matter. My final evaluation was ‘done’ when I saw James Cameron at the helm again… AND the director of “Deadpool” on board! Yeah, it’s about to be some ridiculous popcorn munching in theaters. Plus, the witticisms will go way past “hasta la vista, baby.” Bet both pockets and your neighbor’s on that.
Sarah Connor came through RAW with the big gun in this, didn’t she? Don’t know if they even need ‘Old Man’ Terminator (WTF is that gonna be about though?), but he’s in there.
Shout out to The Ghost Rider from Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Gabriel Luna. Word!

“21 Bridges” Starring Chadwick Boseman Comes To Theaters July 12th (Trailer)

Chadwick Boseman took some time away from MCU to play NYPD for a little while. But he’s still about that action!
“21 Bridges” follows an embattled NYPD detective (Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all “21 Bridges” to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.

Ang Lee? “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” Ang Lee? Well, the production quality should be top-notch. Just hoping the storytelling doesn’t get too ‘lofty’ (which was the knock on his version of “Hulk”). Looks like some good watching given the trailer.

Man, that “Hobbs & Shaw” movie is gonna take the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise in a whole other outrageous, hilarious, who-in-the-hell-left-the-gate-open direction. Lots of buttered popcorn and sodas will be sold when this hits screens!
Idris’ character looks like he is giving them hell. Haaaa!

Dope! This is like the way Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. retold the Ghost Rider character’s story… crossed with some elements of ‘The Equalizer’ and Marvel’s The Punisher. Make way for the Latino Frank Castle aka The Ghetto Grim Reaper aka El Chicano!
When L.A.P.D. Detective Diego Hernandez is assigned a career-making case investigating a vicious cartel, he uncovers links to his brother’s supposed suicide and a turf battle that’s about to swallow his neighborhood. Torn between playing by the book and seeking justice, he resurrects the masked street legend El Chicano. Now, out to take down his childhood buddy turned gang boss, he sets off a bloody war to defend his city and avenge his brother’s murder.

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger Season 2 Premieres Thursday, April 4 On Freeform (Series Trailer)

I never like it when my shows take long hiatuses, esp. in the modern TV era when most networks’ shows break their seasons in half (like a series premiere, then a midseason finale, then a midseason premiere, then a season finale). Too much time away from the viewers. Out of sight, out of mind, out of a job.
But Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger had a pretty good premiere season. Hopefully, the long hiatus means a powerful second season is on the way. We will see next month!

Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found their purpose through The Chief, coming together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence. Food for thought: That word ‘insurgency’ we hear in the news nowadays takes on a different meaning when WE are the insurgents, right? The colonialists that raised an army in America, eventually led by General George Washington… Brittain considered them insurgents (not ‘freedom fighters’ or the resistance that would ultimately give birth to the United States of America).
That said, I’m rooting for the insurgents in this “Captive State” trailer, and for the movie itself. Hope it smashes at the box office. Looks like some good popcorn chewing scarfing action!

Gabrielle Union & Jessica Alba Are “L.A.’s Finest” (Series Trailer)

Interesting that this will be on Charter, a cable platform. Word on the Interwebs is that the pilot for this “Bad Boys” spinoff-for-TV series was passed on by NBC (which is owned by Comcast, a huge Charter competitor) first. Let’s see if ‘little bank’ can take from ‘big bank’ on this occasion.
Looks like a dope trailer, setting up ‘Syd’ (Gabrielle Union reprising her role as Martin Lawrence’s character’s sister from “Bad Boys II”) as the centerpiece for some good storytelling on the small screen.
From the universe of the Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay “Bad Boys†franchise, “L.A.’s Finest” follows Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, who has seemingly left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex history, Syd is forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret. Oh man hell yeah! This is gonna be dope. Different angle going heavy on the ‘non-cool’ “Shaft” descendant ‘JJ’ (John Shaft, Jr.) in this chapter. Looks like they kept the Black super-cool street justice vibe and amped the comedy. And kept the sexy… Wow! The sistas in this one (Regina Hall, too… nice look, even as a bitter babymama, ha!). Check out the trailer.
JJ, aka John Shaft Jr. (Jessie T. Usher), may be a cybersecurity expert with a degree from MIT, but to uncover the truth behind his best friend’s untimely death, he needs an education only his dad can provide. Absent throughout JJ’s youth, the legendary locked-and-loaded John Shaft (Samuel L. Jackson) agrees to help his progeny navigate Harlem’s heroin-infested underbelly. And while JJ’s own FBI analyst’s badge may clash with his dad’s trademark leather duster, there’s no denying family. Besides, Shaft’s got an agenda of his own, and a score to settle that’s professional and personal.
