Kingsman: The Secret Service (Trailer)
Caught a trailer during the premier airing of “Gotham” (good show; “Scorpion”… awesome show!) last night. It was for “Kingsman: The Secret Service” and it looks incredible! Looks like some X-Men meets James Bond. Recognizable cast members supporting some new faces; with the head bad guy (played by Samuel L. Jackson) saying cool *ish like:
Mankind is a virus… and I’m the cure.
Oh…hell…yeah! Plus, lots and lots of oh-yeah-take-that-and-that bang-bang shoot ’em up rock ’em sock ’em action! Can’t wait for this to hit the big screen in February. Peep the trailer immediately!

Interstellar (Trailer)
Murphy’s Law doesn’t mean something bad will happen. It means whatever can happen will happen.
A sci-fi movie trailer teased by the man who brought The Dark Knight (Christopher Nolan) himself, at a Comic Con that had already teased a new ‘Batman’ in a movie… yeah, that happened. But this November. Woooo! “Interstellar” travel will be here (in theaters)! The trailer is awesome. The casting looks spot on to tell the epic tale it teases. Prediction: Extreme dopeness ahead! Had to load this post with so many snaps after the jump. So much visual excellence. Watch above.
Mad Max: Fury Road (Trailer)
Yooooooo! A lot of cinematic heat to warm the hearts and nether regions of every geek got leaked at this year’s Comic Con. Not the least of anticipated releases, “Mad Max: Fury Road” (yeah, the 20th century post-apocalyptic action thriller gets the 21st century treatment). Check that out above. And, if you’re a greedy-greedy (geek haha!)… get a lot more leakage and on-site insight from the linked site below.
The Equalizer (Starring Denzel Washington) [Movie Trailer]
“You didn’t take out five pimps. You took out the east coast half of the Russian mafia.”
Uh ohhhh, sounds like we’re capping the summer with some incredible gratuitous violence. Awesome! “The Equalizer” stars Denzel Washington… back in his “Man on Fire” mode! Can already tell this flick is going to be epic!! Two wrongs don’t make a right. They make a right-left combo backed up with lots of gunfire and action sequences. Warning: Extreme dopeness. Remember we told you.
Transformers: Age of Extinction (Second Trailer)
The 2nd theatrical trailer for the new Transformers movie teases everything you’re expecting by now… explosions, running, screaming… pretty girl running from explosions and screaming… Mark Wahlberg running from explosions and screaming… and bad azz robo-squabbles. Michael Bay film fan or not, this trailer will draw you in… especially since they have Optimus Prime RIDING A DINOBOT! In theaters June 27th
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (Official Trailer)
The new “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” trailer isn’t monkeying around!
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

In theaters July 11, 2014, this sequel will NOT disappoint. WOW!!!
Godzilla (Asia Trailer)
If you are in the States (and are interested), trailers for the latest ‘Godzilla’ movie have caught your eye by now. But y’all know, Asia is home to the big lizard. Let’s look at the look (e.g. preview) our neighbors across the Pacific are getting in promo video.
The Shadow League Gets Some Screen Time with Anthony Mackie Discussing His Role as ‘The Falcon’ In “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” (Video)
The second, action-packed installment of the Captain America series, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” stars Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Robert Redford (Alexander Pierce). In this exclusive video interview with The Shadow League, Anthony Mackie (playing Marvel’s first Black superhero, Falcon) discusses working with Jackson, Redford, and the tireless work and payoff that will come in simply seeing little boys dressed as Falcon for Halloween.
Updating the original comic book storyline of Falcon’s Harlem hustler roots, in this screen version Mackie is a standout DC soldier. Thirsty and hungry for something new, he finds himself pulled into Captain America’s cavalry while on the run from the super assassin, Winter Soldier.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Stars As ‘Hercules’ (Trailer)
“Who are you… Are you a legend, or are you the truth…?!!”
Finally… The Rock (Dwayne Johnson)… has come back… to the big screen (on July 25, 2014)!
Based on Radical Comics’ Hercules by Steve Moore, this ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth, HERCULES. The epic action film also stars Golden Globe Winner Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan and Academy Award®-nominee John Hurt.

A Brett Ratner (who brought us the ‘Rush Hour’ movies and some dope music vids back in the day) film.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (Trailer)
Professor X (Patrick Stewart) gets to meet young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) in this one. That’d be enough, right? But the trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past is LOADED with story and character to spare… Wolverine traveling back in time, sort of introducing the modern era X-Men to the sequel’s (1960s-era set of X-Men: First Class) people. Young Mystique, young Magneto, seasoned Magneto … and Storm (yeah, Halle is on board). Director Bryan Singer is bringing it – May 23, 2014.
Oh, and remember Trask Industries’ commercial that we posted a good while back? Yessir… WE HAVE SENTINELS IN THIS MOVIE!! Watch the trailer.
Godzilla (International Film Trailer)
It’s big & it’s coming to SMASH into theaters May 16th. It’s the return of what is arguably the most iconic monster in the history of film. The return of Godzilla. There’s not much more that’s revealed involving the plot & storyline to this movie reboot other than it’s implied that Godzilla could quite possibly be tangling against a number of other monsters that may have been created due to man’s arrogance & scientific ignorance.
“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.” – Legendary Pictures (Godzilla 2014)
Marvel Presents ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ (Film Trailers)
Based on these recent trailers, I believe ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ will be better than the 2011 debut ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ film from Marvel. In this sequel due April 4th, respected actor Anthony Mackie appears to be an excellent choice to play the role of Captain America’s friend & Marvel superhero… ‘The Falcon.’ Check the storyline below as well as another new trailer after the jump…
“After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.” – Marvel
Transformers: Age Of Extinction (Official Trailer)
After a couple of shorter trailers leading up to the Super Bowl, director Michael Bay & the makers of the fourth installment of the Transformers films give us more of the premise & of what we can expect when the new sequel hits theaters this summer. After viewing this trailer it appears this could be the darkest sequel of the Transformers movies that have up to this point grossed close to $3 billion dollars worldwide. Not only does the film appear to be grittier, but the fans will not find former lead actor Shia LaBeouf in the lead role in this one although producers have easily found a suitable replacement.
Mark Wahlberg plays a struggling mechanic trying to make ends meet to support his family when he makes a discovery in search for scrap auto parts. It turns out that one of the beat up vehicles he finds turns out to be Optimus Prime. There’s not much else given away in the storyline between the Autobots, Decepticons, & the adversarial government forces but from the trailer it’s clear the popular ‘Dinobots’ from the cartoon series will surface in the film. I’m looking forward to it when the film hits theaters June 27th.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: ‘Enemies Unite’ (Extended Trailer)
The summer sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man film is set to hit theaters May 2nd. Things begin to change for Peter Parker when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Super Bowl Trailer)
Marvel’s first Avenger returns this April 4th in ‘Captain America: The Winter Solder’. Chris Evans continues the lead role as Captain America, while actor Anthony Mackie makes his Marvel debut as ‘The Falcon’. A few notables from the Avengers movie also bleed into this film as Samuel L. Jackson is featured as well as the beautiful Scarlett Johansson who reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff aka The Black Widow. The new film picks up in Washington D.C. following the cataclysmic events that played out in New York during The Avengers movie with Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, trying to adjust to the modern world. Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of their new ally, ‘the Falcon’ to battle against an unexpected and formidable enemy-the Winter Soldier. This looks like it’s going to be good.
Transformers: Age Of Extinction (Super Bowl Trailer)
The Transformer’s franchise continues as Mark Wahlberg takes the lead character spot in upcoming film due in theaters June 2014. The Super Bowl last night offered a small sneak peak of what’s to come.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Trailer)
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters this summer on May 2nd & although I’m interested in seeing the film I hope it doesn’t drown in too much CGI. I also noticed from this trailer a few hints that possibly one of the villains in the upcoming movie will be “The Rhino” which one of my personal favorite adversaries to Spider-Man. From the glimpses I peeped from the trailer, it appears The Rhino could be a mechanized villain. I hope the creators don’t ruin The Rhino’s appearance in the film although actor Paul Giamatti is an excellent choice of talented actors rumored to be playing the role. Jamie Foxx stars as Spidey’s nemesis Electro in the upcoming film & there’s some sort of secret event about to go down in Times Square on New Years Eve according to the countdown timer on the ElectroArrives.com website. The film directed by Marc Webb & starring Andrew Garfield returning as Spider-Man, finds Peter Parker picking up new clues as to why his parents left, rekindling his love for Gwen played by actress Emma Stone, & the return of his old pal Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan).  Things don’t get any easier when he’s also busy battling former foes & new bad guys.
