Toro y Moi – “Ordinary Pleasureâ€
Do not attempt to adjust the horizontal… (is that TV reference too old school? Yes, maybe?) Cool ‘visualizer’ effect to deliver some cool audio stimulation. Not ‘ordinary’ no matter what the title is.
“Ordinary Pleasure” is taken from Toro y Moi’s forthcoming album, ‘Outer Peace,’ out January 18th on Carpark Records.
Toro y Moi – “Girl Like You” (Video)
If ever there was some alternative alternative (yeah, double-alt) funk, it’s this work right here. Splash in a bit o’ electro and here you go… the lastest from Chaz Bundick aka Toro Y Moi. Off his forthcoming “Boo Boo” LP, here is a visual presentation of “Girl Like You.”
Toro Y Moi – “Lilly” (Video)
Toro Y Moi with visuals for “Lilly” off the album “What For?” (out on iTunes now).

Prodigy x Toro Y Moi – “Keep It Toro” (Cookin Soul Remix)
I couldn’t wait to play this joint on my radio show after I first heard it. Production duo ‘Cookin Soul’ does it again with this very ill remix of Prodigy’s classic Alchemist produced banger ‘Keep it Thoro’, but they flip it by melding the sounds from the Toro Y Moi joint ‘Day One’ off of his ‘Anything In Return’ album that dropped two year ago. This particular musical mashup is just toooooo dope. Y’all need to go on ahead & hit that download icon while you still can….
R&B/Alternative: Toro Y Moi – “So Many Details” (Hodgy Beats Remix)
South Carolina’s Toro Y Moi leaks this B-side remix of “So Many Details” (which will released with the single November 23, 2012). Toro Y Moi remixed the joint – which features Hodgy Beats – himself. “So Many Details” will also be released on the album, “Anything In Return” (due out January 22, 2013). Stream the remix and original versions of “So Many Details” at the links provided here.

Chaz: In Parts (Mini-Documentary)
“Oh yo, this dude looks like Pharrell!”
I got that every day.

Freddie Joachim – ‘Waves’
Now this is just what I needed right now. Some dope jazzy soulful instrumental vibes with no emcee talking all over the track. This is just some great new cool out music right here from the Cali based DJ & producer Freddie Joachim (pronounced JO-AH-KIM). These tracks makes me feel like taking a flight to back to Brazil or something. Makes me want fly out to Costa Rica, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, or Puerto Rico & hit the ‘Waves’. I’m gonna need to go back & load Freddie’s entire instrumental catalog into my itunes. For now we’re just gonna have this baby on repeat. But don’t thank me….Thank Freddie on twitter.
