Kicking over Waste Management cans, pissing on fire hydrants, moshing through decommissioned splash pads… Calvin Valentine is off the leash. The Los Angeles by way of Oregon production wunderkind dropped his newest visual today directed by Tim Slew of Sound Lapse Media.
Calvin recently signed a multi-album deal with Mello Music Group and “Plush Seats” is the official starter log coming March 9th with 20 original beats. The new beat tape will be out digitally, on cd, and will even get a deluxe splatter wax edition with poster.
If you’re new to Calvin Valentine, the mid-twenties producer, rapper, singer, has likely already been in your headphones before you even knew it. Calvin’s resume includes production for De La Soul, Nas, Bun B, Boogie, Devin The Dude, Planet Asia, Fat Tony, Illa J and more. This new one is something easy and laid back to spark a spliff to and savor the cozy luxury.
