This is technical eye candy. Apple is a beast! Savant Systems is a beast! Now, I wonder if this tech can fix me a sandwich… and fetch me some real Eye Candy (like Rosa Acosta). Solid piece from Forbes online:
The Savant Experience Center, which took eight months to craft and opened in July, was designed by Thom Filicia of TV show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy†fame. It hosts a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a loft-like living room, a Theo Kalomirakis-designed home theater, even a sports bar. But the real draw isn’t the lavish layout (which also has a hotel room, an office and a classroom); it’s the technology that covertly operates the space. Every “room†in the center is automated by Savant Systems and easily controlled with Apple products like iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touch-embedded remote controls. The technology works remotely from anywhere in the world. If you have an internet connection, you can control the home. Murs and Fashawn came out with a dope video for this banger “Slash Gordan” (which you might remember from our earlier post on here). The duo is definitely ready to blastoff with this being their first video from their upcoming album “This Generation” dropping September 25th on Duck Down Records. Although the brothas named this track ‘Slash Gordon’ which is a play on words from the 1980 film “Flash Gordon”, the overall execution of this joint is straight wicked like ‘Ming The Merciless’. Check out some additional video of the duo during their performance on the Rock The Bells Tour below…..

After being teased with the trailer several days back, Nasir Jones lets us peep the official video to “Bye Baby” off of his “Life Is Good” album. Arguably the best hip hop album to have dropped this year & this is clearly one of the standout tracks from ‘Life Is Good.’ Nice detail for Nas & director Aristotle to have former Guy frontman Aaron Hall to have him up in the video as well. I’m positive Aaron Hall’s music career will find a new resurgence by his appearance in the video to this hit song. Life Is Good indeed…..Bye Baby! Famed Music Exec Chris Lighty Found Dead Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound At The Age Of 44

Chris Lighty worked his way up through the ranks in the music industry over the years having managed the careers of A Tribe Called Quest, LL Cool J, 50 Cent, Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, & many others often times through his Violator Management company. This morning the long-time music industry veteran was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot would to the head inside of his Bronx NY apartment. The NY Daily News is reporting that Chris Lighty had allegedly owed the IRS over $5 Million dollars & was just getting over a divorce in 2011. Many of “Baby” Chris Lighty’s friends, fans, associates, & admirers took to twitter to express their condolences below….

In this segment of ‘The Daily Show’ – “Wizards of I.D.” – Jon points out that Conservatives and Fox News seem REALLY driven to uncover and stamp out voter fraud – which is occurring only a scant percentage of the time in elections. Oh… by the way… the strongest anti-voter fraud efforts are being made mostly in swing states with Republican-controlled legislatures! But hey… Maybe it’s a coincidence. Ha! Don’t believe it.
