Before this blog was in existence one of my favorite groups out of Atlanta, Clan Destined, shot this interview with TheNewContent so I felt the need to bring this interview back to re-introduce those of yall who may not be familiar with Clan D! This duo are a definite triple threat when it comes to hip hop. They are both DJs, Emcees, & both are producers! Above all else they always deliver a dope ass stage show. If you love hip hop & you live in Atlanta then you already know how dope these brothas are, but if not check out the video & familiarize yourself. Riding high with the release of his banging new album ‘W.A.R.’ (We Are Renegades), Pharoahe Monch took time out to reflect on his time working with Nate Dogg for the Rawkus single release of ‘Oh No’ featuring Mos Def. Back then I remember people saying it was an odd collaboration that worked because Nate Dogg was just so West Coast G-Funk while Mos Def & Pharoahe were firmly cemented in New York’s hardcore underground hip hop scene.
